I went in looking for a specific book and the worker had it in the back. Love this place.

HBPL has a lot of books to choose from, and at their prices you may end up walking away with a huge stack every time. They also have DVDs, audio books, magazines, and LPs. Sadly, they no longer have VHS. Occasionally you can find a few treasures. Once, they had a huge stack of Fangoria magazines from the 80’s for 25 cents each.

This is a great place to pick up any kind of used books. Lots of fiction and non-​fiction. Prices are great. Outside (patio books — hardbound fiction and non-​fiction) are 3 for $ 1 or 50 cents each. Inside the bookstore, books range in price — paper 50 cents to 75 cents or hardbound $ 1.00, or priced as marked. Most are $ 1.00 — newer editions (last two years are higher.) If you can’t find what you want, you can leave a request and if they get it in, they’ll call you. That’s what I call service. All the volunteers are really great.
