Mario’s Flying Pizza & Italian Restaurant

We got delivery after driving all day (too tired to leave). The food tasted like it was crap from the frozen section (and not the good stuff), with tomato sauce nobody cared about slapped on it. The Caesar salads arrived as house salads. The fried cheese sticks were ok, but not as hot as they should have been. The desserts came still frozen. It was super expensive for what we got, too.

They have great service ivery good I actually ordered some pizza to go to my child’s daycare and they delivered properly and the kids had a great time and I have eaten in there in the dining room with my daughter and the food is consistent I would highly recommend anyone to go there and eat the owners seem to be very on top of service and also the quality of the food

If you’re anywhere near this restaurant, you definitely need to stop here for some great Italian food! The salad bar was a nice surprise and all of the toppings were so fresh and delicious! The lasagna tasted homemade and the service was great. Excellent restaurant!

This place is fantastic. The service is great, the food is as fresh as it can be. I was in Kemah for four days; three of those I ate at Mario’s. The eggplant parmesan is the best I have ever eaten and had it on three consecutive days while visiting. Their sauce is delicious and I’m craving it as I write this review. The salad bar is wonderful. I’ve not had their pizza; however, I’m sure it’s excellent.

Worst pizza in Seabrook. Papa Murphy’s beats this place. Not like the one on Richmond years ago.

I’ve only eaten here once — yesterday. We called the order in and picked it up.
Good service and also a good NY style pizza. Crust is nice and thin; it lost its crispness on the ride home, but that’s to be expected. Cheese and sauce are quality.

never had anything other than the pizza, but i can honestly say i have never had a bad pizza here.

By far the best pizza I have had in a long long time, also the service was awesome… Jesse was our server very professional and friendly but not there all the time which to me is a good thing. We kept them a little late but we didn’t feel rushed… not to mention the prices for the quality were exceptionally good!!!

Today I decided to give another try (last time the Pizza was like stone). We will never go again because this was our Pizza (the black pizza picture). We ate the pizza because we were really hungry, but was the worst pizza ever in my whole life.
I don’t know what is happening to Marios this last months. I went to Marios to pick up the Pizza today, but I didn’t verified because I trusted.

I love their pizza; seriously so, so good! I haven’t eaten inside here, but their delivery service and take out is fantastic. The people are friendly and really awesome. It seems so rare to get great delivery service and offers of the little packets of red peppers and Parmesan cheese, but they offer all of that!
I’ve never had a problem with placing a delivery or carryout order, and the time runs your typical 30 – 45 minutes. I’m sure they have times when that goes over, but I have been lucky enough to not have that happen.
They are friendly and the food is fantastic… wish hubby liked pizza more, as I think we would be here a lot if so. Although, since I can’t control myself around pizza, it’s probably best for my waistline that he doesn’t! Not sure I could run enough miles to run off all the pizze that i could eat from here!

I can honestly say Mario’s is probably my favorite place for Pizza!!! Their Supreme Pizza just really can’t be beat! It has everything you could want on a pizza plus, if you want you can add jalapeños and anchovies to it if that is what you like! I usually order mine for the wife and I without anchovies but, I’ll get them to put jalapeños on half of it! I have been here and brought the whole family for dine in. They have a great salad bar and they serve beer and wine. They have other items on the menu that are very good as well but, we are usually just a pizza bunch! They do have delivery but, I’m not sure what their delivery radius is. There are also locations in Webster and in Galveston on the seawall. The Galveston location was the first place I ever tried a Mario’s location and was hooked right off the bat!!! In fact, I moved to east Texas for a period of time and when I got the urge for great pizza, I made about a 115 mile drive just to eat at Mario’s on the seawall!!! I was dating my wife at the time and she thought I was crazy until she tried it! Then she was hooked!!! There are only a couple of places that I really think have great pizza but, out of them all, Mario’s and their supreme pizza is hands down the best!!! I’ve been eating their pizza since the mid 80’s and it looks like I’ll continue to be a faithful customer when it comes to great pizza!

First timer to this place and I must say the pizza is amazing! My girlfriend and I wanted pizza but not the same old papa johns or Pizza Hut, so we decided on this place. Service was great. We had to wait a while for our pizza, but we were offered a salad from the salad bar on the house. In the the end I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Good food, friendly staff, and just right atmosphere.

Ordered Bruchettas and Pizza and would say they where absolutely delicious. Some places do not offer good Bruchettas and this one does. Pizza was fresh, perfectly baked, and not over priced. The Pizzeria itself was packed so service was sort of slow, but the hostess was very nice to come by our table and ask if we needed anything else while waiting. It was a very rainy/​stormy day so I’m sure they where very busy with carry-​out orders so won’t blame them, they did the best for all of us there to feel welcomed and taking care of.

I’ve eaten here more times than I can count, both dine in and delivery. I’ve had pizza and their «specialty» dishes and can only recommend the dine in pizza. The salad bar fare is just a lazy concoction of bags or cans/​jars opened and dumped into their serving containers. Pasta salad included on the bar is just like premade from Sam’s or Kroger. ALL dishes are prepared with the clear intention of hiding the protein under as much sauce as possible. If you order with minimal sauce, you’ll discover the food is no better sans sauce.
If you’re dining in, pizza is good but be warned that, if delivered, no matter how close you live, you can count on soggy, undercooked pizza dough that is gummy, luke warm and best left alone. We tried numerous times and gave numerous chances for an experience that was less disappointing. After multiple tries we’ve given up on Marios and their substandard offerings.

Unfortunately it is impossible to place a take out order. The lines are busy and when you get through they immediately put you on hold for 15 minutes and never answer. Gave up after trying to get through for over ½ hour.

Mario’s is a good family style restaurant. Beer, Wine, Pizza and a healthy kids menu. What more could I want. Pizza is tossed in the air by the pizza maker’s very cool for the kids. I would recommend this place to anyone, and everyone.

I have always loved this place. It seems that anything I order is really good. I really like the salad bar, too. :) The service is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and willing to help you out.
The restaurant almost always seems full with customers, it’s one of THE places to go down there. The food is definitely good enough for the reputation.

Solid choice for really good pizza.
The salad bar is absolutely a standout, as has been mentioned in many previous reviews. Lots of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, raisins, croutons, etc. and all delicious.
The standard pizza is very good. I ordered it with chicken and mushrooms, and it came out hot and wonderfully crispy.
Service was fast and friendly.
Highly recommended!
