Seabrook, TX

Large branch from large oak cracked and still attached to the tree, fell on roof around 3PM. Called BATEs around 3:30pm. They said they couldn’t get a estimator out today but the crew chief would provide an estimate. Crew drove up around 4:30pm, said hi, and began taking care of the problem. I could have said «whoa, what’s this going to cost me?» but I didn’t. A hour later the branch had been removed, and the crew chief asked how I wanted to be billed. I asked what was the charge? It was about ½ the minimum I considered fair, maybe ¼ of market; plus what’s the response worth?
I asked about the low price and the response had to do with not taking unfair advantage of people with a problem.
