Delish! Great light fresh summer beach food! Was so glad we decided to stop and try for lunch!

Two words, Disco fries. I went to dive while visiting a few friends on the shore and it did not disappoint. At first I was skeptical assuming it would be overpriced junk. I soon found out that they were out of pulled pork which is what I went there for and had to substitute it with chicken. The disco fries were literally smothered with Parmesan cheese, chicken and a mix of so many delicious things. They wine and dine you with popcorn that is pretty much burned and when we asked for more the second helping was just as burned as the first. So overall I was happy with the disco fries although the fact that they were out of pulled pork put a damper on the meal.

Bartender denied my friend who is 27 because he thought his id was fake… We called the police to verify the Id. In the meantime the bartender started screaming at us. The police walked in on the bartender and put him in cuffs on the spot

Have been coming to this location for a long while. I’ve never had a bad meal here I especially like the happy hour menu and drink specials. I take my 6 year old here for an occasional dinner with mom is at a seminar and they have a great kids menu and a great dessert for kids. The staff was very nice and very accommodating

I am truly blown away by the level of unprofessionalism we encountered at Dive! My boyfriend and I decided to go in for New Years Day brunch. We have been here before with no real issues(usually just slow service). We arrived at 1pm and sat ourselves as told by the bartender. The place was not very crowded. The waiter came and took our drink orders and left. Came back for our food and we were all done ordering by 1:10. He never came back… We watched as others sat, ordered and ate before we even saw our food! At 1:45 we asked our waiter(who finally came back) if our food was coming out soon he replied yes not much longer and left. During that 45 minutes he never brought a coffee refill or a Bloody Mary. The table in front of us got up to leave and expressed they were now at 1 hour and 40 minutes with no food. At 2pm I finally asked a bartender to please check on our food as it was only a chicken sandwich and avocado eggs. 5 minutes later or waiter returned and said«I’m sorry I never put your order in, what did you want?» What did he do with the first round he wrote down?!? We declined and said we wanted to leave. He blatantly LIED to our face earlier saying our food was almost up. Sadly we will never return, ever.

I have been going to the Dive(as a Sea Bright local) since they opened after Sandy. The owner Steve is incredibly nice(which is why I gave 2 stars versus 1). I hate writing this review. The food this summer was AMAZING. I would CRAVE their nachos and recruit friends to eat there. Recently, past month, I have recruited two groups of people to eat dinner at the Dive and on both occasions we all noticed a significant decline in the food quality/taste. Apparently the original chef is no longer there and it is an obvious loss. The same menu items(i.e.: nachos and burgers and steak) are not the same as they once were. We are all depressed over the loss of an amazing place to eat in town. Locals all kindly request the old chef to come back and either work or train the current staff to prepare the food to the former glory. Staff is good. Environment is good. Bathrooms need a good scrub. This two star review is solely based on knowing how badly the menu has turned since losing the skilled chef from this summer.

I loved the atmosphere of this place! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, immediately inviting my fiancée and I to participate in trivia(which we won!!) Our waiter was patient and attentive without being pushy and everyone working there just seemed very laid-back and no fuss. They also give you free popcorn to munch on while you wait for your food! The food itself was delicious and we were very impressed, especially because we walked in not really expecting anything. We ordered the buffalo wings and nachos with chicken and I’d highly recommend both! If I had any complaints, it was that the drinks were a little pricey and watered down… but can’t have everything!

Great atmosphere! Service is exceptional! The clams have such deep flavor I ordered a second order. I’m not a fan of pork but read the reviews on the pork tacos. They do NOT disappoint! With just enough horseradish in the sauce. And julienned green apples in the«slaw» are a nice touch. The pork Nachos are a must. Just enough of the creamy cheese. The lobster Mac an cheese is one of the best I have had. Huge pieces of lobster through out the fish. Not just on top! We also ordered a Burger with«bacon jam». Not only was it delicious but had nice thick cut pieces of bacon! I was going to order the Shrimp tacos but they were out of shrimp!!! WHAT??? Well, it gives me another reason to go back and try something else! Plenty of Tvs to watch Football. And was kid friendly! Looking forward to going back and bringing more friends.

Yep, you want a good local bar with a good beer selection and great tacos — this is your spot. Great staff, service is always on top of their stuff and food is always spot on. I’ve been here at least once a week this past year because I’ve never been disappointed.

They have bacon jam… nuff said. Had it on the grilled chicken sandwich and it was divine. Also had the panko crusted oysters… pretty damn bangin.

I’ve been here only twice but I cannot find anything to complain about. A casual place with cool, casual employees. The food is awesome. I’ve had the button clams,(to die for) and buffalo calamari. I’m particular about how my calamari is cooked & this is unbelievable! I’m eating lobster mac & cheese at moment– delish! PS See Eric(with a C) and tell him Stacy sent ya ;)

Why haven’t I been here before!?! I love the Sea Bright area and the cute store fronts so when an opportunity came to walk through town I jumped at the chance. I had passed Dive a number of times heading through town and always wondered how it was and thought I should give it a try. For whatever reason though I never took time to look it up online or even just stop in. Today was different. The husband and I entered and were greeted by a friendly waitress hostess, said hello, but we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and explained the 3 – 7 happy hour specials(see our pictures of them that we posted earlier). We ordered 2 $ 4 micro brew pints and relaxed. I think it was the second sip when the discussion began. Husband: «This is our kinda place, I like it here, why haven’t we been here before?» Me: «This IS our kinda place! I like it here too. I feel like every time we drive by I say let’s go but we never do.» Husband: «We need to make this one of our go-to places from now on.» The husband is right and we plan to be back soon. We look forward to going for Tijuana Tuesdays! We tried the $ 5 happy hour corn fritters, awesome! Then when the hungers came and got us we split the $ 18 Lobster Mac & Cheese. Now don’t let the price fool you, this is an unbelievable mac and cheese. To begin, there were huge and plentiful pieces of lobster meat, including 2 whole claw pieces, and the portion was large enough to share. The cheese sauce was fantastic. The entire experience was great– great service, fun environment, and a cool group of customers. Chill music, friendly bartenders(who give you free popcorn and offer you free beer samples if you’re curious), and a relaxed, beachy vibe. Our bartender had short blonde hair and she was awesome. We found another great spot and can’t wait to return and enjoy some live music, good happy hour specials, and good food.

Great crowd and great food. Drinks can be a little expensive if you’re ordering craft beer, but it is as to be expected especially in Sea Bright. Service is always quick and polite, their food is incredible. Never ordered something I didn’t like. Get the pork tacos and/or disco fries and you won’t be disappointed. They also have a taco bar for quick convenient meals. If you’re going for nightlife, you are in for a treat. Great local crowd and usually a good local band playing(and karaōke on Thursdays!)

Let’s set one thing straight — DIVE! isn’t a dive. It’s more like a low key yet slightly club-ish bar with a drink menu that lean on the frilly tiki-ish side(not that your standard cocktails are not available). For example, I had a drink that was smoothie-based with banana liqueur and chocolate drizzle. Quite delicious and sweet. Plenty of space for larger groups.

Went in on taco Tuesday with some friends to hear some live music, eat tacos and drink some Margaritas. It started with the $ 5 margarita. When I asked if I could have mine blended and the waiter so quickly said«No». I laughed but the d bag was serious haha really? Sure, I’ll take it on the rocks no biggy but you handled it wrong d bag. The tacos are crap who charges $ 16 for Ahi tacos on taco Tuesday? Isn’t taco Tuesday suppose to be like promotional happy hour prices to get people in your restaurant? I think this place is confused if it wants to be up scale because when you walk in its a low key beach vibe. The tacos have no flavor because they didn’t put spice on them haha like no spice. Like they didn’t put any spice on their food for flavor! Duh. Save your cash this place sucks a big one. P. S. Its called Tijuana Tuesday’s. Have you ever been to Tijuana on Tuesday? Let me tell you it’s like every other day in the hood. Shitty and cheap. 2 stars because your food will produce shit.

This review is 100 percent honest and truthful. I had been to DIVE once prior to hurricane Sandy. I immediately loved the vibe of the place, the drinks were fantastic and the servers were super friendly but the good was forgettable. Well let me tell you after this place rebuilt after Sandy they hired a new executive chef and the food now is absolutely bonkers. He truly is a masterful chef and had elevated the food at DIVE to a whole new level. The owners are two of the nicest, hard-working people you will ever meet and treat their customers like family. Before you go spending $ 100 on dinner at some stupid chain restaurant, I’d implore you to stop and rethink and support a local business. You’ll be blown away by the staff and the vibe but it’s the insane food that will keep you coming back — this coming from a true foodie.

My review isnt whether the food is good or bad. Here’s a tip to the owners: If you decide to put meat into something, you need to put that on the menu. Especially if its a pork product. Believe it or not, there are vegetarians who need to know these things. There are also people that do not eat bacon for religious purposes. On the flip side, there are also people that would order something just because it has bacon in it, so youre missing those orders too. Long story short, I ordered the potato fritters, and with one bite, realised I had just had bacon after years of not eating bacon. I also think the waiter handled it poorly. I asked if bacon was in them he responded with a nod, in which i replied«I can’t eat these!» He did not apologize, ask me if I wanted anything else even. He simply gave me a «dear in headlights» expression and walked away. I didnt make a stink and the rest of my table ate them, but I felt like I needed to share this experience, and again… IFYOUHAVE A FOODESTABLISHMENT, YOUNEEDTOLISTTHEREISMEATINSOMETHING.

A great friendly place for a casual bite. Nice variety of beers on tap, and they are super cold! Steve the owner is one of the friendliest guys you’ll meet, and his enthusiasm is shared by the bar staff. It’s definitely worth a stop!
