New Visions Studio & Gallery

My company, an NYC-​based marketing research & strategy firm, recently rented out the New Visions space for an evening focus group session. We needed a private space with a comfortable, modern vibe and ample room to spread out since we were running multiple tasks – serving refreshments, taping 1:1 video, and conducting the actual discussion. The staff at New Visions worked closely with us to ensure we had the best possible setting. They offered to install additional lighting to enhance our video at no extra cost (as it turns out, the existing lighting worked perfectly). They were flexible with coordinating delivery/​pick-​up from a local vendor and gave us access to the space with plenty of time to set it up for the evening.
In the end, the participants felt at ease and the interior décor looks great on our video. The only downside is that the large, loft-​like space/​high ceilings impacted the sound quality, so if you are taking video I would recommend getting as close to your subject as possible (or perhaps using a microphone would help).
All in all, a great experience!
