Great service, good food, decent prices. Handled a group of seven just fine. Been there twice, both times good.

Nice small town mom and pop’s restaurant. Always our choice when on the road, if the locals eat there it must be good. You will walk out full, your belly and your wallet. Where else can you get a burger with bacon and cheddar cheese for $ 4.99?

This is one of those places where everyone knows almost everyone. If you visit with a regular, as we did, they treat you like you are part of the family. I wonder what it would have been like if we went there solo? The food is good solid diner food. The beer menu leaves a lot to be desired unless you like your beer«Lite». Places like this used to be in every town, and I miss them. We’ll come back here again, on our next visit to the In-Laws.

Food was good, but the waiter forgot we were there. No refills on the drinks and took forever to get the check. Didn’t feel very welcomed.

Looking for a place to eat in a small town, getting kind of hungry, saw this place and said«lets give it a try.» Typical small town café, lots of pine paneling, hunting pictures, deer antlers, etc. Even came with the requisite sassy/comical/efficient older waitress who knew everyone there(except us) and could vouch for everything on the menu from canned hash to fried chicken. Food was hot and plentiful and satisfied 4 hungry travelers. The $ 10 dinner plate gave you more food than you could eat including a trip to the«dessert bar’(a soft serve ice cream machine with sprinkles, chocolate syrup, etc). I have to say, I would like to know where they buy(make?) those tasty breaded french fries!
