I just moved to Arizona recently and needed to find a place to get my nails done. This was not the place. I walked in and it definitely looks nice, but their services aren’t. I got a manicure and a pedicure and the only thing good was the pedicure. My pedicure was great, so that’s good. But my manicure was not. The person doing my nails cut me while trimming my cuticles and didn’t think to stop and take care of it and apologize so he just let it bleed… then when he was doing my nails he just seemed kinda irritated about the fact that I didn’t want gel and picked out regular polish. Once I was finished I was glad to be gone. But I had to go back because the manicure chipped off and it clearly says in their brochure that if you are unsatisfied that you can come back and they will try and right the issue. So I went back and they threw a hissy fit that I was asking them to redo it. I told them that this has never happened to me anywhere ever, and that I am unsatisfied and I either want my money back or I want them to redo it. They were smart and redid it, but the lady was not exactly nice. She wasn’t rude, but wasn’t pleasant. I picked another color(opi this time) and she redid it and told me that if it peels off again that she can’t do anything, and that maybe my job is too rough or I wash my hands too much, which was uncalled for. I work in a library with dusty books and my manicures have never been a problem. The reason for the one star though is that because a woman got their dead sea scrub($ 60) pedicure and a manicure which added up to $ 74, she was charged $ 79…they over charged her for the ingredients so that way the person that did it could pay for the ingredients. That made me uncomfortable so I will never be returning here… ever.

I’ve been coming here at least 2x a month for 8 months and most of the time the do a decent job. Don’t expect anyone to remember you, introduce themselves or even say thank you. In/out. That’s about it.

I have been a customer here for about a year. It recently came under new ownership and I will never be back. Not only was the pedicure lack luster, they somehow made polka dots look terrible but worst they chemically burned my foot. Vicky left the callous removal gel on my foot too long and I have a quarter sized raw area on the side of my foot.

I just had the best pedicure of my entire life from Nina!!! :) It included sugar scrub, callus removal and paraffin wax treatment. My skin is glowing. Nina was delightful, friendly, and very skillful at every step of the pedicure experience. She was efficient, but executed the treatment with care and attention to detail. The full service salon was inviting, relaxing, clean, organized with the largest nail polish selection I have ever seen. I will definitely be back again soon to have a gel manicure from Nina. You should definitely check it out.

Pauline’s is under new ownership and I’m sorry that I went in today. It’s now Jenny’s nails and what a disappointment. It was not busy when I went in but my pedicure was so rushed that I never had time to enjoy it. I saw Holly. There was no time for me to soak my feet, she spent less than 5 minutes removing dead skin(I finished at home later that night.), and the massage was pathetic. If you decide to go make sure that you do it see Holly.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and have always had a good experience. My gel manis last about 3 – 4 weeks and they have a really good selection of colors. I recommend going in the mornings as they aren’t as busy so you don’t feel the employees are rushed to turn the customers out. A few times one employee is prepping my gel mani while another employee is completing my pedi so I get out the door fast. I appreciate that and have never felt like the quality lacked with that method.

Expect to be made fun of if you have any sort of imperfection on your feet. The entire first half of my pedicure I got to listen to the two employees laugh as they pointed out my callouses on my feet and when it came time to paint my nails she didn’t think it was a good polish that I had picked out so she picked a new one and had to put oil in it cause it was so empty. Needless to say the new ownership is not like the old ownership.

Not very relaxing when the employee is laughing and talking about you for half of the treatment. Then adds oil to the nail polish. Service is poor. So if you want a relaxing pedicure this is not the place for you. If you do go, avoid the girl with the braces. Note the dates on the positive reviews. It is not the same place any more.

I get half moon manicures now to avoid the regrowth. Google it. Great for busy moms with no time to get in every week and has a vintage look.

The customer service is unlike anything else seen in this space. Their massage chairs are wonderful the leg massage is very relaxing. I know what to expect from their services and have yet to be disappointed.

I went to this place for. 7 years. The owner shawn was great, he knew all the clients names. The staff was friendly and enjoyed working there. Always clean and I always felted welcomed and appreciated. The new ownership is bad, unfriendly and has the girls trying to up sale, I was asked 3 times for upgrades and extra services. I did not enjoy the experience and will not be returning. Where are you shawn?

I used to love this salon and had been going for a long time. However, when the owner or management(not sure which) changed, I was very disappointed. Two new gentleman seem to be the new owner/managers and they are a little rude and unpleasant. One of these gentlemen had do do my manicure as they were very busy last Friday. It was one of the worst manicures I have ever had. To start, instead of soaking off my gel, he filed and peeled it off… along with about 5 layers of my nails. Ouch. Then he roughly filed my nails. So rough in fact that they were weak and jagged. The icing on the cake was the sloppy polish job. i will never be going back.

Love this place. Always friendly and ready to help me. Only bad thing is that I no longer live in this area. If you are looking for a place that consistently gives you great service along with work that does not fail, this is the place. My pedicures and acrylics last for 3 weeks. Definitely the best in Scottsdale that I have found.

After having a bad nail job at The Summit, I went here to get redone! Night & Day experience. Everyone very happy and pleasant, Vivian was new and did a wonderful job on my toes and Tammy redid a bad nail job I had a week earlier. Both were wonderful and took their time even though we were last customer of the night. The salon is very clean and updated… I would highly recommend to anyone who is picky about their mani/pedicures.

Nicest people ever working here! The salon is very clean and they’re super fast if you’re in a hurry(will do your hands and feet at the same time). No appointment necessary and they always stay late to accommodate their walk-ins. They also give you a coupon so you can get a discount every time you go!

My other go to place was full at lunch time so I found where someone else was close by with good reviews and went here. I was having a stressful day and walked in and said give me the works pedi and that they did. They made a point to learn my name, give me coupons for my next visit and make sure I was comfortable the whole time. I wanted to just relax and read and watch TV and they let me. The massage was great and LONG — despite being busy they did not rush which is what I hate more than anything. The place is nice and modern and clean and the guy up front was awesome. I will definitely come back to this place because of the great work and its across the street from me!

This is my favorite spot in AZ for a mani/pedi. I walk in a chipped, uneven mess and walk out a polished princess! First off, the nail salon is beautifully clean. The massage chairs/foot baths are well maintained and cleaned between each client. Implements are sanitized and wrapped as well. Aside from the basic spa manicure and pedicure(which includes a hot stone massage — yeah!) There are quite a few ‘add on’ services available(paraffin wrap, callous removal, etc.) However, they are never pushy to upsell, which I like. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of service($ 38 for manicure/pedicure, without extras). Oh, and they have coupons as well, so my last mani/pedi was $ 4 off! I guess the most complicated part is choosing a color — they have enormous selection of OPI products to choose from. On my last visit, I enjoyed watching a really cute, much older couple. The husband waited patiently in the front reading his Kindle while his wife had her nails done. When she was finished, he(slowly) walked over to keep her company at the drying station, complimenting her pretty hands. It made me smile. :) One item to note — while you can pay for services with a credit card, tips are cash only.
