Great experience on Saturday, very helpful, non pushy sales person, Emily. Tried on bras when got home, wanted to exchange for smaller band. I called her, said no problem come in tomorrow. Arrived today, asked for Emily was told she was in the back and snotty girl told me that the bra doesn’t stretch out, and went to refund money. I said I wanted to try another size. She looked aggravated, but went in back to check. handed me new one to try and stood there. Didn’t escort me back to room, or offer any assistance. When I came out I heard her telling the other sales person, that bras don’t stretch our. I said the cup still doesn’t fit, she once again tried to tell me the bra won’t stretch out and didn’t offer assistance. Decided to just return bra, and I won’t ever be back. Her name was Jaime.

Ran into this store to buy their vanishing bottom panties 10 mins before they closed and greeted by two super helpful ladies! They helped me grab exactly what I wanted! And made great recommendations. Love my new no show undies! Thanks ladies!

I am still so happy with the help and level of service I received here! I had some spare time during a work trip, and had been needing to find a place to get fitted for some nursing bras. Really riveting, I know, but it had been on my list for some time so I finally mustered up the courage to get it done. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and my request for a fitting was immediately accommodated. The woman that helped me was a manager of some sort, and was wonderful. I wish I could remember her name so I could say kudos! I ended up getting two bras, and feel very comfortable that what we chose will work well for me. I was going to buy a third in a different color, but they couldn’t find it in any other store. Either way, I’m a new Soma fan. Thank you!

I knew this place existed but didn’t visit until today. I wanted to get a bra fitting and I figured this would be a good place, since I was already in the shopping center. It was smaller than I expected and it was semi busy when I walked in so I tried on some items myself. I then asked a worker about their fittings and someone was already helping a customer. She was pretty great about it: she helped three of us at the same time. The employee, Jaci, told me to go into a dressing room and measured me. Then, she brought me a few different bra types and made sure they fit well, either by checking or just asking me through the door. I was happy to finally know my true size and grateful for the knowledgable ladies who assisted. The prices are more expensive than what I’d pay, even those on the sale racks. However, I’m a fairly frugal lady and usually hit up Ross for their collection, which is $ 15 and under. But, Soma’s selection is pretty nice so I may go back and see if they have more sales after Christmas.

What’s happened to the customer service at this store? Two years ago the staff was excellent; they understood their clients and did their best to help my daughter and I select bras that fit. Yesterday we both returned to the same location only to find the store had moved to a new location which so poorly arranged it was claustrophobic. However, the worst part of our experience was the customer service. There were several employees on the floor but, only one appeared to be assisting clients, the others were totally indifferent and didn’t want to be bothered. Don’t think my daughter and I will ever go back and wouldn’t recommend this store to if you are looking for customer service.

Inviting windows and décor a draw. Haughty once inside with small footprint feeling claustrophobic. Cannot fathom staff’s annoying, pretentious, little girl voices. Obvious commissioned staff with shark tank mentality. Order online for broader product and size offerings and to avoid the full court press.

I wasn’t in the market for a new bra but a beautiful bra and panty set in the window caught my eye and drew me in. They have a really nice variety of undergarments from the utilitarian to little pretty lacy things in sizes that extend into the Carol Doda range(how’s that for an old timey SF reference??). I have been properly bra fitted in the past so I was confident in my ability to pick out my own size. The sales clerk might have been a little too insistent in checking to make sure that I had selected the proper size even after I had insured her that I was competent to select my own. She came into my change room to check and just ended up confirming that I had made the proper selection. Soma is a sister company to Chico’s and White House/Black Market with similiar quality and price points. They have a free membership/purchase program that offers discounts and special sales. I will definitely return the next time that I am in the market for new lingerie.

I’d been looking for somewhere besides Victoria’s Secrets to buy my bras, as VS didn’t seem to be as knowledgable and never had the size I actually needed. I saw Soma on Unilocal and figured I’d take a shot, even though there were mixed reviews. I couldn’t have been more happy with the service I received. The store was super busy on a Saturday afternoon, but Nicole was the employee who helped me out and she did an awesome job at fitting me for the correct size(totally different from what VS told me I was) and helping me find a few bras that worked for me. The prices aren’t that bad. You get what you pay for when it comes to bras. They had a 2 for $ 59 sale when I visited, so I got two of those bras, but even not on sale, they were only $ 42 for a good basic tee bra in size 34D(which I LOVE by the way) and $ 48 for a strapless/convertible bra in 36D. I was happy to save the $ 30, but would have paid full price for what I got. I wasn’t sure how the strapless one I got would work with some of my shirts/dresses, so I asked about the return policy…60 days, no questions asked. I appreciated that, since this was my first real bra shopping experience outside of VS and I wasn’t sure what would work best for me. The only kind of negative thing I’d have to say was that the employees were chatting freely a lot about personal stuff and other employees, in front of customers. It didn’t bother me at all and I didn’t think it affected their work, but I also wouldn’t want my employees doing that in front of customers.

My girlfriend and I came to Phoenix from Colorado and decided to go bra shopping. We did a a search and found this Soma store. We almost didn’t go because of the bad review. I’m so glad we went! First off the store is located in a really nice part of Phoenix and a really nice shopping area. Second the store is clean and the staff are wonderful. They did a fitting for me they would bring me all kinds of different bras in different sizes shapes and colors until I found exactly the kind of bras that fit perfect I love the bras, underwear and staff. The cherry on the cake was Both my girlfriend and I were able to find new swimsuits at Soma. The ladies there helped us pick them out, make sure they fit right, and they do look oh so cute, and you know how hard it is to find a good-looking swimsuit. This is a great store to shop in. Have fun!

I like this store, I find what I need. I get excellent service from Taylor and Angela every time I visit. I love that they have plenty of «unpadded» bras. When you are a double D, you don’t need padding, there is natural padding already there. I don’t need to look like I am a stripper. The prices can be a little steep, but if you wait and sign up for e-mails you can find great deals.

Today I had the most fabulous shopping experience at Soma with my mom! We were greeted by Janice and Brandi who made the shopping experience feel like the highest end of boutiques. They were both so much fun and very professional, as all women know getting sized for intimate apparel is something that needs to be treated with care because for lack of a better word, it is so INTIMATE. I went in expecting to purchase some new foundations but found that they have expanded their apparel line to include great new spring dresses that have the comfort of pajamas, that still manage to be flattering and in trend. A side note: they sell a bra that doubles as a camisole top– in a city like Phoenix where it feels like 140 degrees some days, it is nice to NOT have to add another layer to your outfit in order to maintain a little modesty. They are so great it leads me to wonder why I haven’t had these for years! I can’t say enough about the customer service. As a small business owner myself I find it refreshing to encounter a retail environment like this! Thanks again to Janice and Brandi, you set the tone for a great mother/daughter shopping day!!! ;-)
