I am getting automated phone calls just about everyday with no way to speak to a HUMAN but to call an 855 #. I have called over 5 times to this # and still no one answers with hold times of 20 – 35 minutes each. This is a complete waste of my time when all I need to tell them was to not bill me but my insurance company because they did not do that yet!

My insurance paid 90% of the bill on my behalf. After receiving my portion of the bill this week, I’m already on their«automatic call» list to pay the bill. I’ve had the bill for 4 days. When I tried to call back, I sat on hold for over 20 minutes. She said we’re on the daily call list until the bill is paid in full. Really just a horrible experience.

After a ride to the hospital those knuckleheads couldn’t figure out how to submit the claim to my insurance. I realized they are doing this deliberately why? because if they fail to submit the claim and wait for the time limit to expire they them can go after you for the entire bill ie. $ 1,000 fir the ride to the hospital vs. $ 387 the contracted amount for the insurance reimbursement. I had to submit the claim myself THOSECRAZYFOXES.

They claim they accept insurance, then they don’t. I had to pay the bill myself, and while working with the insurance they sent me to collections. Then once paid, I could not get the collection agency to quit harassing me. on top of that, you can not get ahold of the billing department, they are horrible!

This company is a JOKE. they sent me a «flat rate» bill for taking vitals that was $ 700. along with a note that states they do not provide ICD-9 codes so that you can bill your insurance. I called my insurance company and they told me that i could get a copy of the report that they took on me(basically a blood pressure report) and send that in and bill it myself. Will write another review once i hear back from my insurance company that is working on the claim that this place GUARANTEED would not be covered.

I took my own claim on 0÷16÷14 and submitted it to my insurance company. Within an hour of receipt, my claims adjuster sent me a message that she would promptly have the bill audited for payment. Today 01÷20÷14, payment in full has been issued to Rural/Metro. That took all of 4 days. Rural/Metro clearly has something wrong with their billing process and they refuse to both correct it and take responsibility for it. If you ever have the pleasure of dealing with this company, just get a copy of your HCFA1500 and handle the claims process yourself. Rural/Metro serves no purpose at all. Thanks Rural/Metro for allowing me to do your job for you. What is the point of even paying your billing staff to bill claims if all they do is sit on information and do nothing with it? Interesting read: Wonder why they went bankrupt? Perhaps if they had been following up with insurance companies after supposedly billing them, they would have cut down on their accounts receivable? (I later sent Mr. Rush an email with the claim payment information and the date that the check cleared, asking him to confirm that my account is at a zero balance. I received no response.)
