Located in north Scottsdale, Legend has all the trappings of a big time golf resort including driving range, putting green, pro shop and a restaurant. The course is narrow with houses & desert on both sides. It has some interesting holes and challenging greens. While less expensive than Troon North or Grayhawk, lately it has fallen way behind in its condition. During a recent round, the course should of been in its best condition. However, it showed signs of needed repair. I hope this improves…

Legend Trails Golf course is open to the public. It is the most beautiful golf course I have ever played and everyone is courteous, helpful, and very friendly. At this time prices are very reasonable and I’m sure you’ll enjoy every moment on this course. You may even see deer, roadrunners, javelins, quail families, cardinals, owls, hawks, coyotes, and bobcats.

I have never Unilocaled a golf course before. While we liked the course we were treated like crap by the staff at bag drop. Unprofessional and your course is really not all that. Have played at the best around the world, but never treated like a peon!

Legend Trail GC is a beautiful course, and lots of fun. It has a beautiful practice area and range. Since its in North Scottsdale, it’s a tad cooler than down in the valley, which is nice. The summer rates are pretty good– GolfNow offers deals sometimes with greens fee, cart, small bucket of range balls and lunch all in one. I think it’s a good way to go. While beautiful, the course is fairly tough. Being a desert course, you will be punished if you spray it off the tee. It is still very enjoyable and I loved the change of elevation throughout the course. Bring lots of balls, and whack away.

As far as a pure golf spot, you must try Troon North. This place is a great change of pace. I actually had lunch and kicked it by the pool afterward, too. Places like this really make me appreciate the«world class» golf that North Scottsdale has to offer. This is to golf what North Shore is to surfers.
