I’ve lived here for a year now and have been very happy. My unit is a one bedroom which was totally remodeled before I purchased it. The complex itself is old and has some of the issues an older building will have(water pressure/heat is not as great as I would like, but my unit may be unique with this issue). The parking lots just got completely redone. The location CANNOT be beat! This was the main reason I bought the place. You’re in the heart of Old Town with it’s nightlife and restaurants. Fashion Square is literally a mile away. The 101 is 3 minutes away giving you access to Tempe in 15 minutes, North Scottsdale in about the same. The pool is one of the best in Old Town, even though it’s frequented mostly by retirees and snow birds, it’s a great pool. They are updating a lot of the systems(plumbing in particular) in the building, and the improvements are being done at a rate that is methodical and calculated. This makes me very happy with the decision I made to buy here. The values are still some of the best in Old Town. The future looks bright. The only cons with the place are community washer/dryers on each floor, which means you have to walk and fork over change to do your laundry. They only have covered parking spots… I would love a garage. That’s really it, the pros totally outweigh the cons.
