Agree with the other poster who gave it a one star. Staff was friendly, but it’s all down hill from there. Not sure how this place got so many stars… Motel 6 is preferable and it’s half the cost. I take showers on a nightly basis, but I’ll make an exception tonight. I’m leaning against the dresser as I write this review because the chair and the sofa chair is dreadful looking, dirty in appearance, and falling apart. I’m not a smoker and in fact hate the stench of it. We got an non smoker room, but guess what… There’s a lawn chair with an ashtray in between every room. There was a guy puffing away right beside us as we entered our room… The toilet handle came apart from the chain so had to fish it out to fix it… If you are a tall person Be Aware! The ceiling fan will be more like in your face fan! Will definitely NOT coming back here no matter how nice the staff…

I’m not sure how this place has so many stars. I give it one for the friendly staff and the comfy bed. This place is in need of a MAJOR overhaul. When I walked into my room I wanted to turn around and walk out. It is sooooo old and the ceiling is right there on ya! I did notice the room was super clean.

Great Surprise! This hotel was better than I expected since the rooms we booked were ½ off. We had a cool fireplace in our room. Excellent all the way around, location, close to zoo, stadium, old Town Scottsdale lots of stores and restaurants. Clean modern and a great value in room size for the money. Loved the courtyard with the aviary and beautiful grass and trees. quiet although it’s on main street. The breakfast was decent for continental buffet. The Bartender was a hoot! No charge for the business room or for the front desk to send a fax for me. The only thing I can think of that would make it an even better place is if the pool water was warmer. It was 99 degrees out for most of our stay and the water was so cold that it wasn’t comfortable to swim, also no hot tub. It was a great stay! Thanks!

Wife and I just stayed this past weekend. Wonderful experience. Room was clean and updated and the AC worked great. Pool was nice and well kept. We were allowed to use the business center with no issues including printing documents. The staff was very happy and welcoming. The breakfast is more than adequate with something for everyone.

Front desk costumer service was amazing. Parking was really good and was included. Waffle maker is great included for breakfast at the restaurant. I really enjoyed the outdoor layout. Very nice pool and fountains make it an oasis in the desert. Location is really close to old town and lots of cool restaurants. Don’t be discouraged by the exterior. The rooms are clean and updated.

Loved the courtyard with the aviary and beautiful grass and trees. quiet although it’s on main street. Booked on line and had a mix up in reservation, call management had it all taken care of by the time we arrived and staff changed rooms for me to ground floor next to daughters room. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections, cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels juice coffee and teas, in a nice dining area with cloth on tables and cloth napkins. Would stay here again with no concerns.

Stayed for Spring Training based mostly on price and relative distance to Scottsdale Stadium. I made the reservation a month after the change from it being a Best Western property. It’s decent, nothing fancy. Feels, looks and smells like more of an old school hotel. Probably in need of an overall upgrade on the property. If you’re needing a place it will probably work.
