Luxury Nails by Kelly

By far my FAVORITE nail salon! Kelly is absolutely amazing at my gel manicures and my boyfriend won’t go to anyone else for his pedicures. She and her husband, Kevin, are so entertaining all while being so detailed with their services. I am not picky with who does my pedicures and everyone there does an excellent job! We have been going to Luxury Nails for almost three years now and definitely would never go anywhere else. I am always sad when I go on vacations and have to go to a different salon. It’s never the same. Fortunately once I am back in AZ Kelly always fixes me up!

This was my first visit to this nail salon. I had a gift certificate for a mani and a pedi that my next door neighbor gave me. I was looking forward to being pampered. When I walked in for my appointment there was a young woman at the reception area. She wasn’t very friendly and basically ordered me to sit down and wait. Well — OK. They use a plastic liner in the foot baths which at first I thought was a good idea but then I watched them change out a foot bath. They drain the water and put in a new liner. There was no cleaning or disinfecting of the tub. Not exactly sure what the process is but I think I would rather have the tub cleaned.
My technician Van was great — very detailed, and a great leg massage. There was a realtor sitting next to me that was talking on the phone very loudly. It really ruined my experience. I think the management should make the salon a phone free area. This is what my regular salon does and no one complains about not being able to talk on their phones.
Next as I was waiting to get my nails done the young woman who ordered me to sit down came out of the back room eating what appeared to be a large piece of fruit. She couldn’t speak because her mouth was so full and she went to the front desk and looked at the schedule book and started speaking to my tech with a full mouth. Yuck! I would not go back. I felt bad for Van — if anyone is looking for a good nail tech you should hire Van and get her out of that hell hole.

If you are new to the area or just looking for a new nail salon – they are the best.
Service is great! — I’m always greeted with a smile and right now-​Summer– a cold bottle of water as well.
I have been going there for a while now for fills and pedis-​great massage chairs!
Salon is very open, well maintained and FRIENDLY!

Love this place. Nice. VERY clean. Polite staff. Kelly is the best. They are a whole family that owns and operates the place. Love the state of the art equipment. Next to another place I love called Zen Reflexology.
