I have gone to this salon for 6.5 years and decided to switch because although Lisa does a nice job with my hair, her attitude has always been fairly snippy and rude and this continued to get worse over time. I finally decided that I did not want to pay that amount of money and have be in a negative energetic environment. It’s not worth it

I’m a stylist myself and I don’t trust ANYONE but Lisa Turley with my hair! Perfect haircuts every time. You won’t find anyone better.

Been to Lisa 3 times, and in Scootsdale the land of hairsalons, I have had better. If you want to have orangey blonde or as she would like to say Gold, this is your place. She wants to get you in and out fast and charge a lot of $$$. Her speedy blond at the shampoo bowl lightening left my color with an orange tint. When I asked her if she would make an adjustment for a more neutral color you would have thought I asked for her kidney… too much diva going on at that place. On my way to someone who knows color and has a kinder attitude.

Lisa is a true hair guru. She’s a gal’s gal and truly wants you to walk out feeling amazingly beautiful and gorgeous. She’s meticulous, a perfectionist, consultative and remarkably creative. Her desire to learn about me, my style and to genuinely get to know me as a person, is why she is the longest hair stylist relationship I’ve ever had. My appointments with Lisa and her lil rock-​star assistant Kayla (scalp massage guru) is like spending a couple hours with my gal pals. Lisa brought my «hair-​love» back; something I’d been missing for years. I’ve also gained a great friend. I don’t know how or why anyone would go anywhere else but to Lisa Turley.

I was referred to Lisa by a friend and recently went to her to have my hair colored. I’m a blonde (not naturally), and I’ve literally been to dozens of stylists in the last few years trying to find the right fit. I always leave them satisfied, but never blown away. I was astounded how perfectly Lisa read my skin tone, and mixed a color that looked so natural on me. No stylist has ever been able to get my color perfect the first time. I had a great time at the salon. Lisa and her assistant Kayla are lots of fun. I’ll definitely go back! Thanks Lisa!

After trying multiple hairstylists in Scottsdale, I was fortunate enough to find Lisa after a bad experience with another stylist. I contacted Lisa frantically for a color correction and she fit me very quickly. I’ve been a loyal client ever since. She is by far the best in Scottsdale. She has achieved perfect balance with my ombré color… just enough to be noticeable, beautiful, and natural looking, without appearing overdone or unhealthy. I love it and I regularly receive compliments on it. She pays close attention to detail and my cut is always perfect. The product line that she uses is incredible as well and I’ve loved each product that she has recommended for me. My hair has never looked better. Not only am I thrilled with my hair, but I also look forward to my appointments with Lisa because she and Kayla are incredibly personable and sweet (and Kayla gives the best scalp massages)! I always leave the salon feeling better. I highly recommend Lisa!

Let this review seduce you to the lisa Turley hair studio side. I enjoyed my outdated hairdo all coiffed up from root to ends with stiff cement products promising to voluminize. What I didn’t love was the mess in my crown that was throwback to metal bands hair. My bad hair behavior & habits of trashing my hair harder faster pussycat more than Vince Neil had trashed hotel rooms was catching up to me.
All the combing & detangling and STILL the painstaking hair loss when I’d finally go to wash my very own motley Crüe I grew out of my scalp.
Enter lisa Turley. She’s a true full blown hair Wonderland taking on way more than a typical hairstylist. No, no fried ends no asymmertical layers, no previous hairstylist’s botched work. Worse yet lisa was dealing with a woman who had bad hair care habits that had been embedded at her cellular level.
I was given much more than a deep conditioning & fab layers hair shaping. I was educated and was shown how my hair could wear with other suggestions for everyday look that would render a kinder more gentler (healthier) scalp.
I learned how much hair care has changed in 20 years. Was shown how to embrace & even love the dynamic duo of a roll brush & hair dryer! I was shown how to use products and what to expect with my new shampoo conditioner & hair conditioning oil.
My first two visits to lisa Turley salon was nothing short of top notch. I’m so happy to read this recurring opinion in other lisa Turley salon reviews because top notch service at LTS is a constant.
Still, i wasn’t sure I’d keep going to LTS because of my own fear to relinquish my bad hair habits. Ever committed to the pursuit healthy hair follicles lisa had the (un)pleasantries of getting to the «root» of my unhealthy hair habits & gently offering/​reminding me of alternatives/​solutions that were all within my powers.
My third visit was transformational inside & out. What patience & dedication lisa has to deconstruct old bad hair habits & reprogram with healthy hair ways!
Going to LTS is like going to therapy: one knows in their gut what must be done but enlists a therapist to help foster necessary change. Plus with LTS I receive a great conditioning, shape, and style. You see? LTS IS transformational both inside and out.
Lisa was understanding & easy going when I disclosed I purchased a cheaper in price (and apparently quality) product similar to one she retails. I was hoping for the same result. Nope. The other product didn’t deliver like LTS endorsed product in the least. She understood that I had to learn this «my way» and NVR did a «I told you so».
My relationship with LTS is ongoing and more than satisfactory (ecstatic really). I can’t imagine any one else making me feel good and shaping my hair like LTS.

Lisa Turley is the REAL DEAL. She takes her job very seriously. Everything about Lisa and her salon scream top notch. Lisa is a professional. She continues her education and is always on top of the latest styles. She really is the best stylist there is.
Lisa has been my hair gal for 4 years. When I went to her I had this awful blonde thing going on. I wanted to go back red. Lisa got be there and had me looking like a million bucks. I literally never give Lisa any direction when I go to see her– that is how much I trust her. I just tell her to do what ever she wants and my hair always looks amazing. Just when I think she has peaked as far as my hair is concerned, she proves me wrong. My hair has never looked better. I thought about asking her to give my hair some ombré action, but I’m kind of already over it and I haven’t seen it look right on any ginger gals.
She’s super relaxed and a great listener. I have seen some super hair control freaks come sit in Lisa’s chair and be pleased. Lisa is like that. She makes everyone hair happy! I’m not sure how she deals with some of these hair psychos but more power to her! I always laugh and have a very relaxed experience with her. I’m not going to lie, I’ve also had some serious melt downs in her chair, too (not over my hair but over my life) — but that’s a whole other story. :)
Kayla, her assistant, rocks, too! She rubs head like no other. Just wait until you are in that shampoo bowl and she is working her magic! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!

Holy Hair Hero!
I showed up in Lisa’s chair 4 years ago with bleached blonde (well, slightly green in some areas), damaged, crispy hair! I had been getting my hair lightened professionally for years, but between the bleach, wrong toner (or lack of), lack of proper instruction and products, and chlorine from training for a triathlon my hair was in horrible shape.
Once I was in Lisa’s chair she carefully examined my hair, consulted one of her trusted collogues (since it was that bad) and called home to say she would be late. I was her last appointment of the day… but she still took on the challenge! First stripping my hair of the green, deeply conditioning all the fried ends, and creating a filler base color…4 hours later I left with (still long) beautiful healthy buttery blonde hair! Literally a hair miracle! The fact that she showed such attention to detail and passion to stay so late with a new client spoke volumes!
With Lisa’s expert color techniques, care instructions, and products, she has kept me a silky blonde with mid back length hair with absolutely zero damage and breakage for 4 years! She is so dedicated to my at home care that when I felt so-​so about a new conditioner she immediately told me to bring it back and exchanged it for a new one!
I would highly recommend Lisa!

I’ve been coming to Lisa for 6 years and she’s great! Highlights (blonde), cut… I get compliments all the time! Lisa’s great at creating beautiful color with definition. I find her very pleasant, the salon is easily accessible and I look forward to my appointments.

When we moved to Scottsdale from the East coast a year ago I wasn’t worried about find a new physician, dentist, good grocery store, etc. I was wondering how to find a good hair stylist. I spotted a lady in line to get lunch one day and asked who did her hair. And that’s how I found Lisa. I can honestly say I’ve had more compliments on my hair in the last year than in the previous ten. It’s all Lisa. My sister even asked if I had stopped coloring my hair and gone back to my natural color! Yeah, natural when I was 13. I think that’s a pretty good indication of how natural my color looks. I think my favorite thing about Lisa is that she didn’t see an «old» woman when I came in. I’m 63 and over the last few years I had to work at getting a stylist to give me a cut that didn’t look dated. Not with Lisa. She listened to what I wanted and didn’t want and gave me a cut that I really enjoy. No more helmut hair. Now even my husband is getting his hair cut there. I have no qualms about recommending her.

I must say that I was not impressed with my hair when Lisa was finished. The hair cut was uneven and the color was also uneven with streaks. She is very expensive, bot not worth it at all. I also thought she was rude. Don’t waste your money.

My hair has always been my calling card. Long. Brown. Mild blonde highlights Usually found in a ponytail. When I moved to AZ from Chicago, I had been going to the same stylist for 15 years — ever since a traumatic incident inolving what I’d like to call «layers gone wild» — and he was the only person I trusted since. I was afraid to let another stylist touch my hair… and spent enough paranoid hours researching hairdressers and colorists before I found Lisa. Two years later, i’m still raving about her skills and loving my ever-​evolving look.
What I loved about Lisa instantly was that I could do an email consultation with her prior to stepping foot in the Salon. By the time I got there, I was still probably the most nervous person she had seen in her chair in a long time. She calmed me down and gave my hair a serious assesment before she got started, asking me questions I never thought i’d need to answer — so much detail!
Once I gave in to Lisa and her skills, the rest, they say, is history. She does a beautiful job with cut and color, and geniunely wants you to be happy with the way you look before you leave. To Lisa, a trim is ACTUALLY a trim, and 3 inches… actually 3 inches. A miracle if you ask me. Her haircuts wear perfectly from the first day it gets cut to your next appointment — there is no «just let it grow in a bit» phase… which i love. While I usually get immediate compliments on my fresh color, the thing that amazes me most is how often 5 or 8 weeks into a cut I’ll get a compliment from a stranger on how great my hair looks.
Her services don’t come cheap, but i’ve found that the results are well worth the cost — and i’m not one of those girls who is willing to scrimp on cash to find the best ‘cheap’ cut and color around. It’s worth every penny for a stylist who can color to perfection and make you feel like a million bucks both when you walk in and out of their salon.
As Lisa says, your hair is the one accessory you wear every day — so make an investment in it. My hair may cost me a small fortune, but Lisa’s skills are worth it.
