I recently had gum grafting surgery performed by Dr. Lee and his team. They are all so warm and friendly and truly want the best for their patients and it shows. From Dr. Lee, to Stacie at the front desk, Maggie who helped with my insurance and Madeleine who assisted Dr. Lee during the procedure, along with the rest of the team, I can’t speak highly enough of my experience! I’m not a good patient especially when it comes to any type of surgery/​dental procedure. Dr. Lee and his team took the time to answer my many questions, explain what would happen throughout my treatment, kept me updated regarding insurance coverage, etc… To top it off, Dr. Lee called me everyday, starting with the evening of my surgery, to check up on me and see if I had any questions. Without a doubt, if you need to have any periodontal surgery completed, Dr. Lee’s the surgeon to see. I found him and his team extremely professional and very knowledgeable.

I have an excellent general dentist, but when I was in need of a periodontist., I was referred to Dr. Lee. I am a senior citizen and believe in going to the best., Dr. Lee and his team are miracle workers. There aren ‘t enough to good things to say about them. If someone is going to complain about their fees perhaps they would be happier going to a second tier dentist and getting a second tier result.

Dr. Lee is stuck in the ’50’s and not a state of the art endodonist. I needed an implant and was referred to him by my dentist. At our consultation he told me he hated working on «skinny women» I kick myself for having proceeded. He said it would be a year of treatment (like that’s not long enough!!) I’m now entering year 3! The post he put in was too big and too deep. It caused all kinds of trauma. He kept telling me to be patient. At our 2 year anniversary I said show me the progress in the mirror because I’m not seeing it. He got mad threw up is arms and told me he couldn’t help me anymore. He referred me to a very expensive specialist to fix it. The specialist said if it weren’t for the additional trauma and time it would cost me he would have preferred to start over. Do yourself a favor and find someone else!

John Lee’s staff of hygienists are very nice, but the extremely high fees are unjustified and their billing is done «by quadrant». $ 200 for cleaning and scaling a quadrant is really $ 800 so they cleverly disguise this. Equally good Hygeine is ¹⁄₃ this price. And if you’d like Dr Lee himself to answer a quick question you will be billed a consultation fee. His referring colleague Dr Arthur Chal is even more extreme, and I certainly hope this review stays visibly posted.
