Johnston & Murphy Shop

Great little J&M shop… terrific staff and a much-​bigger inventory in the back then their showroom space would indicate. Wonderful!

I’ve been a fan of J&M dress shoes for several years. A little pricier, but they are the perfect dress shoe. Comfortable, classy, and not pretentious some of the other brands in the similar price range (Cole Haan, Ecco, Born, etc.).
I roamed around Fashion Square searching for the perfect pair (Macy’s, Dillard’s, Nordstrom’s) but of course came to this store and found the pair I wanted.
They didn’t have my size (13) in the exact style I wanted, but arranged for free shipping to my doorstep. Awesome service.
Also, the store manager gave me care instructions for the shoes, even though I know how to maintain dress shoes with dressing, shoe cream, horse hair brushes, etc.
Either way, I will come back to this store.
Oh yeah, and if you have an iPhone, they have an app where you can search for your nearest Shoe Shine!
