This woman has been until now my worst nightmare! I didn’t want to write anything when my incident happen, but I realize that people need to be aware about this white trash and nasty lady whom ruined my hair by chopping it off in pieces and leaving me with a haircut that depressed me for a while. Not only that, but she doesn’t have any ethics or moral values, the only thing she cares about is charging you a fortune for her nasty work. I was about to sue her, but I am in the process of recovering from an illness, so I decided not to go through the hassle and just take care of my health and well being. Now I have to pay for blow outs up to 3 times a week so my hair can look decent. My lawyer advised me strongly to sue her, but again, my health is my priority and I believe that sooner or later, she will pay for hurting someone’s well being and on top of everything not returning the money for her unprofessional work. Now I feel better that I had this opportunity to share this with you. Cause nobody has the right to hurt you, especially when you are leaving your persona in hands that brag to be the best!

Jodi is simply professional, sensitive to desires/​needs, and a cut WAY above the rest (no pun intended)…she transformed my horrible old cut/​color to new dimensions I did not know even existed! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and an expert in her field, but it amazes me that it took her literally two seconds to know what I needed… she was like «yup, this is what I’m going to do». I have never been more happy or thrilled by the final product, AWESOMENESS! «Balayage» (I think spelled?) was what she did to my hair, and produced the most natural look I have ever seen coloring my hair… my husband was floored with the transformation which is ever so pleasing to me :) She is a definite go-​too, I can’t recommend anyone else so highly for the most incredible color or cut you will ever get with the most sincere respect for what you want… seriously, Jodi is the real deal, I’m forever in!

Her work was good, but was way overpriced for just highlights and trim, with no blow dry (styling) Will be looking elsewhere for something more affordable.

Just thought it was time for an update since it’s been two and a half years since my last one… I’m still thrilled with Jodi (and I’m back to blonde now, and going blonder using a phased-​in approach so I don’t unduly damage my hair). The thing I like best about Jodi is that she really listens to her clients to understand what they want, but she also gives really thoughtful, insightful input based on her many years of experience and her in-​depth knowledge of the products and processes. She understands how to keep your color looking natural and the right tone for your skin color… I always feel fabulous when I leave her salon. As others have mentioned, she’s not inexpensive, but Jodi is worth every penny and then some!

I recently moved to Scottsdale and was searching for someone who could continue using a specific haircolor, Inoa, on me since I have very fine, thin, difficult hair. I hit the jackpot when I found Jody! This is one talented hair stylist. Not only did she immediately realize that I needed a different formula and color but she also knew I didn’t have the best cut to maximize my hair type.
I’ve now had my hair colored twice, cut once and have never received so many compliments. She can take one look at you and, like a good doctor, immediately diagnose what can be enhanced. I am so grateful and highly recommend Jody. You’ll be happy you made the switch!

I was headed to a special event, having just flown in from LA. I was referred to Jody, had never been to her before. She agreed to add me in after her scheduled last client. And I couldn’t be happier with the result! She was attentive to my preferences. And mentioned to me along the way when she was doing a technique specific to one of my requests. It was great. My hair looks fantastic. Much appreciated!

Her technical skills, so far as I can tell with one visit, are fine. And I love that she uses INOA. So what’s the problem? Her service is beyond awful. She starts on my hair, next thing I know, she’s sitting in the chair next to me, while another employee COLORS HER HAIR while I’m sitting there. Then she proceeds to tell me that if this other employee has time, they are going to cut her hair, so someone else is going to have to finish my color for me. That employee didn’t have time, so she was able to get back to doing my hair, once she was done with her color service. In decades of getting my hair done, I have never had such unprofessional service. And this was a first appointment. Seriously? This is how you treat a new client, and expect them to come back? Needless to say, I won’t be going back. It’s taken me a few months to write this review, because I hate to complain. But this really was beyond the pale.

I went to Jodi with a picture of a hair color I’ve had before, and for a trim. Easy, right? Wrong! The color I got was orange and white, not the rich medium blonde in the picture. The cut took all of five minutes, and she cut my hair dry (that’s a first!). I ended up cutting my hair myself, and the right side was an inch longer. I asked her to redo the color. She said, «I knew you’d be back because it was more orange than you wanted.» Then she put a lighter color over the orange and toned it. Sigh… Long story short, it was way too light. I just got my hair redone by another stylist I’d found through referral, and it looks pretty good. So, good money after bad, I can go out in public again, and not worry about looking like I’m trying to be a poor man’s version of Marilyn Monroe.
