Greenbaum Surgery Center

Wow! What a place for surgical procedures! First off no one here has any kind of contagious issues. The places is clean and tidy and has no «hospital» smell. Secondly, the staff! I can’t praise this place enough. The patients advocate Danny is awesome. He kept us informed and was so patient and kind. All the nurses and doctors are super gentle and kind. Everyone seemed to have their own room to recover in as well. Only drawback is there is no place to eat within the facility but many choices around that deliver.

Had my eyes done two years ago and am scheduled for breast lift, build in bra, augmentation and rhinoplasty with Dr. Robert G. Bonillas on May 22^nd. I feel very comfortable with Greenbaum and my doctor after the last results I will stay overnight this time and leave with a pain pump this is a great facility.

I had an outpatient procedure at Greenbaum Surgery Center in May of 2010. I was very impressed with this facility. They promptly had me registered and into the pre-​op area after I arrived. The pre-​op staff was extremely friendly and I felt very comfortable with them. The center uses a system called Bair Paws, which is a temperature control system for patients having surgery. The Bair Paws gown allows temperature-​controlled air to flow through the gown keeping you warm and comfortable before, during and after surgery. I wish they would have had this for my C– section I had the previous year. They also gave me a pair of socks that went with the system so my feet would stay warm. The anesthesiolgist arrived, gave me some happy juice and next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery. They kept me there for a few hours in recovery and I was in and out a bit and then I was released to go home. The staff and bair paw system really made it a great experience. I am having another surgery in a week in a half and this time I will have to stay overnight. Hoping I will get the same excellent care that I had a couple years ago. I will keep you posted.

If you have to have outpatient surgery, then this is the place to do it.
Without going into my whole medical history I have joint pain in my neck caused from car accidents years ago, which has caused me years of pain in my neck & upper back.
Well there is a procedure where they burn the nerves causing the pain, which then eliminates the pain. They do two diagnostic blocks of the nerves prior, just to make sure it will work before they go in & burn the nerves for good. Basically this means I had to go in on three different occasions to get three needles stuck in my neck. Sounds fun huh?
Well I had visit number three today & the actually burning of the nerves. Imagine 3 needles poking around in your neck. They have to find the right spot after all. No, it is not pleasant.
What made every one of my 3 visits pleasant was the wonderful staff at Greenbaum Surgery Center. Seriously these people are awesome, caring, & sweet. I felt completely comfortable & taken care of every time I was there.
I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with medical offices, so it makes me really happy to be able to talk about a great experience.
It almost makes me wish I had a reason to go back & get some sort of other surgery done… almost. Anyone want to pay for me to get a little cosmetic work? ;)
