Nice park

Great new addition to the Troon area! This park features a shaded play area, two full basketball courts, artificial turf, and public restrooms (you don’t need a key). There are two large open areas that connect to short trails. The trail above the basketball courts has two shaded seating areas that offer fantastic views of Pinnacle Peak. Most of the trails are packed dirt, so it’s great for riding your bike or walking your pup. The playground is fully shaded by an actual structure, as opposed to the typical tented playgrounds in the area.
Plenty of parking, with a few handicapped and carpool/​hybrid spots. It’s a little difficult to find the first time there. If coming from Dynamite/​Alma School intersection, head south on Alma School and turn left at the Fire Station. There is a small sign that says George Doc Cavalliere Park.
