Not a typical Scottsdale eatery but once you get used to the lack of lighting the food is really good and the cocktails better! My filet was oh so tender and cooked to perfection and the loaded baked potato was a meal in itself… I will return.

This sucks! I can’t believe that Frashers closed. As I said before… It was my St. Louis sanctuary in the valley. I hope the reopen somewhere else in the future. Gilbert maybe? At least for pizza, toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake. This really blows as I was really looking forward to my annual Bday dinner at Frashers.

I am sure our experience here was not as good as the employees were checked out, but this definitely did not hit the mark for what it is priced at. Doesn’t matter anyway, this place is now permanently closed.

SOSAD this place closed! I’m from St Louis so I went here for my St Louis style pizza fix. Not to mention the toasted meat ravioli and gooey butter cake! The restaurant really had that old school St Louis vibe too. :(My fiancé and daughter love their smoked chicken and ribs. I guess they’ll be able to get their fave meals at Frasher’s Smokehouse. I truly wish them all the best and hopefully they’ll open a new full service steakhouse again in the future. Best of luck! :)

It looks like they’ve closed down. The outdoor seats are gone, the place was dark at 8 pm. Bummer.

How in the world this place has such high reviews I have no idea… We walked in to what we assumed would be a nice steak house to see a bunch of drunk and loud bar patrons and were told to seat ourselves. When we chose our booth we were served menus as the waitress was telling the guests at the bar to «fuck off». When we asked the waitress about the wines on the menu she seemed very disinterested and had a lack of knowledge. We left shortly after. Needless to say service was horrific and environment felt like a strip club.

Last evening had a Prime Rib sandwich a jus was extremely salty as was the prime rib which was previously frozen. Prices are extremely inflated for the quality

I am amazed at the high reviews this place receives. While yes, the food was wonderful, the atmosphere makes it completely unenjoyable. First of all, it’s obvious this place is a local watering hole, not a fine dining establishment and therefore, not worth the $ 130 I put down for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner. The only waitress in there that didn’t seem to be loaded was our server and many of the female staff members didn’t seem to have any issue with getting groped and fondled by the fellas at the bar. Put it this way, it wasn’t surprising that this place is across the street from a strip club. The inside of the restaurant felt sleazy and I definitely would not return here. We even watched one family get up and leave the restaurant after having to listen to Guns n Roses blast and their server pour ice all over the floor in a daze. When she walked away they left. Had it not been for what amazing things we heard about the food we would have been leaving right behind them. Had I wanted to eat dinner at a dive bar, I would have done so and certainly would have paid a lot less.

I loved this place. The pork chop I ordered was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the filet and daughter the ny and they both melted in our mouths. The waitress was friendly and told us about the gooey butter cake for dessert which is something you just have to save room for. Would definitely go back.

We came in early, at 6:30 and sat us next to a large, noisy party and then we were offered a choice of two small tables while larger tables were unused. The Margaritas were all mix and almost no tequilla. Menu was overpriced and dining room so dark it was difficult to read the menu. We left after 2 sips of our drinks, Will not recommend or go back.

We come down for spring training every year. Goin on 7 years. We ALWAYS make it a point to make reservations here and have a nice dinner. By far the best steak in town! Highly recommend it!

Absolutely fabulous food! I had the appetizer combo that was to die for. My Ribeye was cooked better than perfect and my gal’s Filet was equally as delicious. The seasoning on the Ribeye should be mass marketed. The atmosphere was delightful and the service was outstanding!

The dessert was good! Service was nice! The soup was amazing! It’s just strange. it’s a steak house right? 36 to 40 $ in price, — I had the rib eye –but no seasoning no flavor? It tasted like, it was taken out of storage, place on the grill and put onto a plate ! It made my stomach hurt.

A nice, casual dinner restaurant. We started with toasted raviolis which reminded me of pizza bites but were pretty good(not quite like the ones they make in St. Louis, but not bad). The strip steak was decent and the service was okay. Overall a good experience.

Wasn’t fantastic. Definitely overpriced for what it was… service was horrible… we were the ONLY people in there and it took forever… would we go back? Nope.

Came here for happy hour and the place was completely empty — literally us and 1 other patron at the bar and that was it. First impressions are that it was dark and«cave-like»; and I was kind of skeptical. The bartenders were super friendly and made some menu suggestions. $ 3 glasses of wine and cocktails from 4−7pm everyday?! Wahoo! We shared the bruschetta and toasted ravioli. The bruschetta was yummy and tasted fresh. Loved the added sundered tomatoes. The toasted ravioli was just okay — comes with 8 pieces and marinara sauce for dipping. The prices are fantastic. For a total of 4 drinks and 2 apps I believe it was under $ 25. What a steal! We will be coming back here for happy hour for sure.

I wish this restaurant was in the middle of the downtown action… but it’s not… and you can’t really fault a restaurant for its location. At least it has a parking lot so you don’t have to hassle with the parking like you do downtown. This is a really classic-feeling steakhouse. Very dim lighting, sports on TV, a centrally-placed bar. It feels fancy, though we showed up in sandals. It’s not pretentious at all. I got the pan seared trout… very good with the crunchy skin. I recommend the«FGT» as a side… some kind of four grain rice thingie. The appetizers are all great, especially the crab-stuffed mushrooms and toasted raviolis. You can get a bottle of wine in the $ 30-$ 40 range – not bad. The service was friendly. All the meat-eaters at my table loved their cow.

We’ve driven by here a few times and eaten at other restaurants in the area but never actually stopped in. The outside is pure white stucco and misleading. I say this because while it looks old and outdated on the outside, the food inside is amazing. My husband came here and had dinner while I attended Unilocal’s Cocktail Society. He ordered a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and corn. He said it was one of the best steaks he has ever eaten at a restaurant. I snuck out during the event to get a taste of this amazing ribeye and he’s right — it was delicious! It was huge — almost an inch thick and a rather large portion. It was tender and juicy and flavored just right. He ordered medium-rare and it was perfectly cooked. My husband even said the corn was good(which surprised me since he normally doesn’t order corn and like it). For dessert, he ordered the butter cake and let me tell you, their butter cake is sooo good. I was lucky enough to try some and it just melts in your mouth. Yuuuum. I can’t wait to come back here and have another amazing steak!
