Dunn-Edwards Paints

Unbelievable how helpful and friendly everyone is at this store especially Paul who helped me with a difficult match. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for paint.

Stood in line earlier today for 15 minutes. 3 employees working, each employee was with a customer, and I was the only other customer in the store. No one acknowledged me and it seemed like I was invisible. I left, and returned a couple hours later to see if anyone was available. I wanted to purchase a Jeff Lewis fan deck, but was told that they don’t have them and they also don’t have any color swatches. The only option to view the Jeff Lewis colors is a small brochure with the colors the size of a dime. The employee was rude and clearly did not want to help me.
The Jeff Lewis colors are great, it is unfortunate that Dunn Edwards is the only retail location to purchase the paint. Every time I have been to this Dunn Edwards location, I leave appalled by the horrendous customer service. Definitely lost a sale today as I planned on purchasing paint for entire house.

I worked with a design person, set an appointment. The agent spent a lot of time working with me to finalize colors that met requirements of the HOA in the neighborhood I live in. Included a «photo» of the home in proposed colors and of course the required paint chips to present to he HOA as part of the approval process. This is a terrific service and the designer went beyond what I expected in providing support. I have used DE paint in the past and love the quality of the product. Design experience certainly adds depth to my passion for their products.

Just wanted to let everyone know not to waste your time at Dunn Edwards at the Scottsdale location the customer service sucks. Went in there to get a color match, simple even Home Depot does that They told me 45 mins. 1 hour and 45 mins and there wasn’t anyone in the dam place waiting for paint. After bitching to someone I think they started to do it

I love designer Jeff Lewis’s aesthetic and was thrilled when he came out with his own line of paint. Fortunately or unfortunately the only place that you can purchase it directly from a retail location is at Dunn-​Edwards. I haven’t had horrible experiences there in the past but this time you would have thought that I had the secret super power of invisibility because I stood there for 10 minutes without any type of acknowledgement. I finally just grabbed a color card and left.

These guys make it very clear they don’t like working with home owners. Short answers with an attitude is a typical Dunn Edwards response. Frazee is right down the road and they are fine working with contractors or home owners.

Over 200 $ for a 5gallon bucket of exterior flat paint? I DO NOT think so. Sorry. Last three times there my colors were off tint. Had to return with poor service. I’ll shop Frazee now. Sorry. Dunn.

This is my first time actually purchasing the paint with Dunn-​Edwards. I have heard about this place through the painters that repainted our house few years ago that they purchased the paints through them. If you do live in a Homeowner Association home (s), just provide your association name to them and most likely you will get some soft of a discounts on all the purchases. Good luck!

Bold basics is a calm expression that captures my current feelings. The summer brings to me sun patina colors. The summer in Phoenix is fire. Mid and deep tone colors have a cooling beauty. It may be 122 outside. Inside it is dark, soft and breezy.

Went in for a small purchase (just needed to pay, advice not required). Two «cashiers» fully occupied problem solving for customers, had to call for a manager 3 times before he sauntered out. 7 customers waiting in line to pay. Finally gave up, put the items back on the shelf and left.
Next day, my wife goes in and experiences the same incredible lack of retail customer service.
This place should just close its doors to non-​contractor customers, as they sure haven’t a clue about what it takes. That, taken with their «bankers hours» and closure on Sundays sends a clear message that Home Depot /​Lowe’s is a better place to go.

I love this store! Everyone is super helpful and nice. They have the best products. The paint is high quality and I love that they carry metallic paint, hardly anyone carries it any more and most of our client love metallic finishes!

Service counter clerks are very friendly and helpful.
