Doga – Monthly Event at W Scottsdale

Minnie and I went to Doga for the first time last night…
What’s Doga, you ask?
Ready for this… Doga is yoga for dogs! And I’m not the only crazy pet lover that was up for this event… it was packed last night with dogs (and people) of all sizes and shapes.
Oh My Dog! partners with W Scottsdale to put on this free event the first Tuesday of every month… 6:30 is doggie social time and at 7pm, Dena Zell, certified yoga instructor, leads the class and incorporates some new fun «asanas» for the dogs to do with the help of their owners. The class lasted only about a ½ hour and then it was treat time — Minnie really enjoyed the peanut butter flavored fro-​yo for dogs that I gave her as a treat for being such a good girl during class. It was only $ 3 — such a deal!
If Minnie and I did it, anyone and any dog can do it! We had fun and really bonded… I met some new people and dogs and was really impressed by the friendly staff and support from W Scottsdale.
