Club Medspa

I found this place on Groupon. I did my first visit when they were in their N. Scottsdale location. Took me forEVER to get an initial appt for an IPL. Finally got in and I had purchased what I thought was 3 facials, but according to Sadie and Dr. Kearns it was actually 3 areas. For the record… I went back and looked at the deal and it was advertised as «3 Fotofacials» so that may have been Groupon’s error… but whatever. They basically gave me a consult and stated that for full results I would need about 6 treatments and they would let me do the 3 facials if I bought 3 more at the reduced rate. Agreed to that and also bought 6 laser hair removal sessions.
The facials themselves were actually quite good. My skin always looked amazing about 1 – 2 weeks after. The laser hair removal I don’t think was as good. I’m not an overly hairy person and I still see little wisps. I’ve had laser removal done on other parts of my body and this just seemed the least effective.
I’m giving this 2 stars since the actual facial itself was decent. The way the practice and business is run… is horrendous! They have since moved 3 other locations. Each time, its almost impossible to track them down and make appts. One time, I showed up for an appt (30 min away from me) only to find out that the Dr. was out of town and they weren’t doing them. Sadie offered to call me next day to book another appt and a free IPL. Never got a call.
They are now at their latest location… and I’m still trying to get that last free IPL. Since I’ve gotten all the sessions I paid for… I’m pretty much going to call this what it is and find a more organized, professional place to go for like services. In Scottsdale, where there is a new med spa around every corner… I shouldn’t have to work this hard to get a flipping’ facial.

I agreed with Writers B but somehow but review wasn’t on here; funny how all the 5 star reviews made it and how did some even know the last name of the aesthetician? I wonder if they are friends. I had the same experience as the other one star reviewer. Very rude treatment by her when she did finally do anything because she cancelled so many times. I just found the other reviews listed at her old location Just look at the old filtered reviews and you can see how she conducts her business. She couldn’t find my paper work either, once or twice even called me by the wrong name — for my «personalized» treatment. And kept me waiting when I scheduled according to honor her cancelation when she knew it was another difficult time for me due to my traveling. Definitely does not know how to run a business. There are so many others in Scottsdale don’t know why anyone would choose here.

Sadie is awesome as is the doctor.
Club Medspa ispretty and clean and the whole staff is terrific.
The IPL is really working and I can see the lessening of the
dark spots.

Awesome spa!!! Sadie Ranov really knows what she is doing! My skin looks amazing after my IPL treatments. Highly recommend this Med Spa!

I started with Club Medspa when they were in the N Thompson Peak location and they have since moved to a BEAUTIFUL space inside a Doctor’s office on Scottsdale near Shea. This move has made it much easier to make appointments and has truly allowed Sadie to become part of a professional environment where her business is flourishing!
I initially had a 3-​IPL package and yes– you do start off on a lower level and then work up to a stronger laser. This is typical procedure and I expected to see results on a progressive– NOT instant– time line, so I was more than happy to purchase an additional 3 treatments.
After living in Florida for 10 years and AZ for 3– I knew my skin would need a little extra love! Anyone living in Arizona should realize that you will need a minimum of 3 treatments to reverse the damage we get here just from walking to the car.
I just finished my 6^th treatment and I am SO happy! I can see the results and my skin looks SO much better– laser treatments also stimulate collagen, so that’s an added bonus! The next stop is a high intensity VI peel that Sadie has recommended– my friends in NYC are getting the same treatments for many times the price!
