Christi Chism, DC – Chaparral Family Chiropractic

I wholeheartedly give this Chiropractic office 0 stars!!! This practice filed a Lien on our property for over $ 1100 for 4 visits that my husband had with Christi Chism after being hit while at a dead stop by a man on a motorcycle. The accident occurred on 4÷18÷12 and was supposed to be paid by the insurance of the man driving the motorcycle. This office proceeded to file a Lien on our property on 5÷14÷12. That is only 26 days after the accident, only 24 days after his 1^st treatment and only about 14 days after my husband’s final visit! Never once did we receive any bills from them or any notices about not receiving payment. The motorcyclist’s insurance paid the claim about 90 days after the incident which seems to be a correct time frame for such a claim. Chaparral Chiropractic never bothered to release the lien on our property. Understand that we have no knowledge whatsoever that this is happening as no one has alerted us to this lien. Now fast forward, we are in the process of getting a home loan and they delay the loan because we have this mysterious lien on our property from Chaparral Chiropractic. I would highly recommend finding a Chiropractor with more integrity and higher moral standing. Let me not forget to mention that the Dr. kept telling my husband that he was nowhere near being ready to stop treatments after he was insistent that he felt fine after the first few visits!

They have really good appointment availability for massage. Also, very reasonable prices for massage. Although I didn’t see the Dr., I saw Susan for a massage and she is very good at what she does. Not only does she massage, she gives you stretching exercises to do at home and also did some stretching with me during the massage. She is very good at what she does.

I suffer from bulging discs in my lower back and migraines stemming from neck issues. I go in for adjustments and occasional accupuncture. I LOVE IT! I recently had a 2 ½ week migraine with a lot of nausea and dizziness. I had stim therapy, accupuncture, they have a FABULOUS water bed table and then an adjustment. I walked out of the office able to walk in a straight line for the first time in 2 weeks! The staff is always friendly, just start talking about pets, books or cool trips and there goes the afternoon! I love the location and they are kind enough to work with my crazy schedule. I call the same day and they can usually get me in EVEN for accupuncture!

My experience was the same as the first review. The front office only seemed to care about whether or not my pain was from a car accident and how they could maximize their billing. The treatment itself was also not effective and I never felt any change from their service. Again, they mostly just wanted to maximize how much they could get from me and from the insurance carriers.

Best chiropractor I have ever been to. Went to see Dr. Chism with shoulder pain and after a few adjustments, shoulder is feeling much better.

I don’t know. I mean… I just don’t know. Two staff members asked me three separate times if my back pain was related to a car accident. I went in there with an open mind and one of the «doctors» I saw didn’t even read my chart before making observations about my situation. I just don’t know what to think about it. No massage, just some poking me with a metal stick called an «activator» and electrical stimulation (???) to my shoulders… did I mention to them that the pain is in my lower back? Oh, that’s right, I mentioned it a few times…

Christi Chism, D.C. is for me, the BEST chiropractor Ive ever had! I threw my back out and literally crawled into the office with the most intense shooting pain in my back. I couldn’t stand at all! After she got me on the table and worked her magic I walked out of her office a happy man. She uses what’s called an Activator. its a tool that pops your back into place. I’m sure there is more to it then that but it works!
She SO reminds me of Janice Pennington. to you younglings, she was one of the models from The Price Is Right Show. Come on down!
