Chipotle Mexican Grill

If I could give this place a negative I would! First of all my brother had ordered a bowl and asked for medium salsa and they gave him medium corn and did not fix it, then when I ordered I asked if them for chicken without the seasoning cause I am allergic and they kept refusing until I said I would call their manager and they do not clean their grill as often as they should!

I found this Chipotle to be one of the nicer ones I’ve been to recently.
I stopped in for a quick lunch one afternoon and figured I would give this place a shot. It is located in a large mall area in Scottsdale, near the 101. Anyway, upon entering, I saw that the seating area was a bit different than other locations I’ve been to.
The second thing I noticed was that there was an abundance of outdoor seating as well, which is a nice change for Chipotle. Anyway, I placed my typical order and took a seat near the front. The food was excellent and the service was friendly.
I can see why this Chipotle gets the reviews it does. Much better than others that I’ve been to recently. If I am back in that part of town, I’ll definitely stop back in!

I’ll be honest I’m not a huge fan of chipotle but my friend was begging for it so we came in my chicken burrito was really good and Thomas the cashier was super friendly so I decided to leave just because of him

This place always has super friendly service no matter what time of day I stop in. The food is always consistent.

The service here is amazing and they are always nice about my specifications to my burrito bowl! One of the Best Chipotles I have ever been to. Very clean as well.

UPDATE: Now convinced this is the Worst location of this chain in town. The guacamole (normally the highlight) was more brown than green and the salsa fresca looked about five days past it’s prime.
It was about 9pm on a Friday night and some of the meat in the bins looked very tired and ready to go to bed. I also had visions of what produce should I get that could possibly get me sick and possibly make me rich like those in the Northwest. Well I survived this trip to the troubled chain, but they are now charging $ 7.50 for a barbocoa burrito. The other meats cost less, so this must be the gold standard of barbocoa, but I could not tell the difference. It tasted fine, but based on looks and the time of day, maybe these guys should deduct some money off the burrito’s after 9pm. Now, they even started hiding the spoons, so I can’t stock up on that item to offset the high prices. I now own alot of Chipotle forks/​knifes and napkins.

This Chipotle is still the best Chipotle I’ve found. Hands Down! One thing that is completely different from the rest of them is how the customer service and the staff try to get to know you on a personal level. They remember their regulars, strike up conversation while being extremely friendly and always offer service with a sincere smile. One employee that we just love is Tiana. She’s always so friendly, so happy and is always going above and beyond to make sure that everything is the way we like it. Tiana and her crew are the reason we keep coming back over and over again. Thanks Tiana!

Best CHIPOTLE in town.
I’ve been to several locations, and this one far exceeds them all. The food is consistent, staff is awesome, and it’s always clean.
While lunch during the week can be really busy, they move the line quickly so anyone can get in and out. (The other day 21 people were ahead of me, and I probably waited 5 – 6 minutes). Tiana is always super friendly.
This location tops!

This location used to be my go too whenever I wanted a quick lunch. Unfortunately the last few times I have been here there have been multiple issues. I usually get a bowl because I got sick of how when you take a bite out of the burrito one side is all rice. (Yes I am aware you can ask them to mix it up). Well today I decided to get a burrito because the last few times I got a bowl it was so overfilled you couldn’t eat it without spilling stuff everywhere. Not neccesarily a bad thing, just annoying. So back to the burrito. I asked for less rice and beans but they still have me a lot anyways. I got steak, salsa, sour cream, corn, lettuce, and cheese. He guy rolling it seemed like he had never rolled a burrito in his life. I couldn’t even unwrap it without it falling apart and even if I could there were multiple holes in the tortilla from him trying to roll it tight so the outside was covered in sour cream and stuff that leaked out. Chipotle should really take all the extra money from their ridiculous price increases recently to train their employees how to roll a burrito. Needless to say I ended up dumping everything into a bowl anyways.

This location was very clean. I don’t usually eat Chipotle but I was in the mood for Mexican ever since I landed in Arizona. I ordered a burrito bowl and I was surprised at the large amount of portions this chain gives. The servers were nice and fast and the food was good and fresh. I had enough food in my bowl to last me two meals. This location offers comfortable outdoor seating. I love this type of healthy eating!

Bummed! I normally love chipotle but today when I tried to order online, no carnitas was available. So I called and they said to just write in the comments that you want carnitas, asked if I could order on the phone and they said Yes, hold on and never came back! So ordered online following the instructions that were given to me and get back to my office and I have no Carnitas! ARGH!

We used to love tbe Chipotles but now the meat has gone way downhill. I am hust not even sure what to say. I can live with burrito blowout (it gets a hole and they wrap another tortilla around it) but crappy meat is the killer.
Please fix this!!!

This was my first visit to a Chipolte establishment and it was okay. I ordered 3 tacos on corn tortillas each with rice, beans, chicken, salsa and paid extra for guacamole. Lots of other things could be put on, such as hot sauce, sour cream, cheese and you could pay for chips and salsa. My meal Was washed down with a beer… nothing as a draft… lots of people ordered the bowls and other popular choice is the burritos. It was fast, healthy food at what I consider a very basic dining area or place to sit outdoors. For $ 14, good food, no complaints.
A family of 4 children and 2 adults enjoyed a meal, and I noticed there is a kids menu. That’s great!
A guy I met on line is a regular here for his take home meal for him and another… and he likes the bowls of food.

Make the extra effort to drive to this location rather than the Scottsdale Thomas one. The service is great here and the food is always awesome. :)

This is the WORST chipotle I have ever been to…(and like the rest of you I love chipotle). I have had more than one horrible experience… try 5 bad experiences. You may ask yourself «why do you keep going back»…well I live in the area and I would haven’t possibly imagined that a chipotle location could be this horrible. If your trying to order online. don’t bother!
I ordered online twice now, and when I got to the location not only was my order not ready (after 20 min)…but there was no one there. On top of my order not being ready… there was no chicken left… Talk about being reactive at 7pm??? The staff tried to apologize and give me the meal for free, however I already paid for it. I then said that I would take Barbacoa instead, however the manager wouldn’t give it to me because it was .70 more!!! The staff is lazy and very rude! I recommend NEVER going there!!!

Hit this place on a Sunday evening right after the Super Bowl, needed something quick to take to the hotel. As always, Chipotle did not let us down. Clean place, friendly staff and fresh chicken bowls. Perfect.

Ordered your basic bean, cheese, sofritas burrito. the guy rolled it into a ball. I said hey your making my burrito a ball. He said, no I am not. Anyways, I had them put NO salsa on my burrito cause the beans did not look HOT I was right. cheese never melted. barely put any sofritas on either.

Absolutely love this location! My husband and I order a couple times a month and they never disappoint. When it’s busy, the line goes quickly and the people are nice. A little smaller than other Chipotle locations but still a good one :)

I’m a fan of this spot. Maybe I am bias because it’s my neighborhood spot. Aside from running into your occasional ball players and athletes, the energy at this location is a reward in itself after a workout. But it’s always immaculate, the staff is always happy and friendly and the service quick. Fast food this way is what I call my idea of a happy meal!

everytime I have gone here the staff has messed up our orders. One day it was so bad I called and the manager offered us a completely free order, which was awesome. She totally followed through on that thus the 2^nd star, but that order was also screwed up. Nice people but that doesn’t cut it when people pay you for food. Might need some re-​training here

The prices are going through the roof and the choices are going down, not a great combination.
My Barbocoa burrito was $ 7.70…and guacamole of course is still not included.
The next time they raise prices I will be heading for the hills. The meat was pretty good though and the burrito was still pretty big, but now it is getting big priced too. They also only offer one type of cheese now.
Ok, well to compensate for them raising prices, I now take a healthy handful of napkins and silverware home with me — it works out well for both parties.

Fast and friendly service, very tasty options. I had a barbacoa bowl with brown rice, black beans, veggies, corn and hot salsa. Terrific.
Girlfriend had the sofritas (tofu) which she said was good as well.
I love their tacos too. I wish they would sell queso though.

Carnitas salad bowl with black beans, mild salsa, cheese, and guacamole is my favorite!!!
I am usually in during the evening and have had consistently good service! They are willing to answer questions and handle special requests.

Love, love, love Chipotle and this location. Everyone is always super sweet and the food is delicious. Local meat, farm raised, non-​GMO or rBGH. You can get as many sides of sour cream and salsa as you want and that makes me happy.

Nice, modern style Chipotle in the large shopping area located off Indian Bend. This location seems to have been built recently and is one of the nicer looking Chipotles I’ve seen, both inside and out.
Per the norm at chipotle I have never waited long for my food– they seem to be well staffed and efficient.
I have, however, gotten stiffed with the fajita veggies a few times here. It’s like if the fajita veggies are low don’t give me a tiny scoop just cause you want to make them go further. Just cook more and load me up with the last few scoops, ya know? The fajita veggies are what Mae the Chipotle world go round. I need them. Not just a few of them, a lot of them.
Without them… my bowl is forever incomplete.

As far as fast food goes. .Chipolte is a favorite stop for me. At this locations, the staff is always friendly and the food is always very fresh.

This is my standard place to eat when I travel for business. 5 stars to this Chipotle. The employees are great and the was burrito bowl was fantastic.

There’s something abut this location that I love. The food is always tastier. The portions are always larger. The staff are always friendlier. The architecture is more unique than other locations.
Maybe it’s more appealing because I typically stop by this Chipotle after hitting the gym, when I’m absolutely famished. Yet again, maybe the food’s just made with more love. (Not that I’ve ever had a bad meal at Chipotle…) I’ll gladly drive a little out of the way to dine at this location.
Right now I’m hooked on the chicken salad. I’m very picky about my toppings and they’re always very accommodating. Side of brown rice? Check. Separate containers of two salsas? No problem. A teensy bit of cheese? You got it! True Chipotle consistency, with a little bit more pizzazz.

The newest guac on the block, this Chipotle makes one mean burrito. Brand spanking new and shiny, the restaurant is built on the site of a completely renovated ‘Barbeques Galore’ store right next door to the Lamps Plus in the heart of the Pavillions Shopping Center.
This is the first location I spotted the franchise’s newly introduced cilantro lime brown rice and I’ve got to say the nuttiness and texture really add to the burrito experience. With everything you’ve come to love from a Chipotle on top of the added freshness of a newly built kitchen, I couldn’t ask for more in a meal.
The staff is quite young, but they spoon out the delicious burrito fillings with the deft hands of burrito making veterans, smiling throughout the interaction and engaging the customer with interest. The cook tended a slew of delicious marinated chicken on the grill, and sat humming cheerfully as they browned. The sounds of the juices crackling on the hot grill echoing through the restaurant seemed to compliment his tune.
Once I had paid, I took an empty seat and began to unwrap the glory that is the Chipotle steak burrito. With childlike abandon, I began tearing into this marvel of modern culinary magic, devouring bite after bite until I was left empty-​handed and full-​bellied. A highly recommended ending to a long day at the office.
Could not be more satisfied with my meal here, and look forward to coming back time and time again, as the location is perfectly situated on my commute home from work. Clean, friendly, delicious, nutritious and nearby, truly a 5 star establishment.
