This school is amazing. My husband and I looked at all the private schools in the Scottsdale, Phoenix area. Camelback Desert School was by far the best. It offers small classroom instruction where the student is always heard. Our son has excelled academically and socially. The teachers are caring, professional and always approachable. The Camelback Desert campus is what we always wished our childhood school would look like. The overall feeling at CDS is excellence. We highly recommend this school over all other private schools in the valley.

I am writing this review for the preschool only. I am a nanny of two children at this school, so I’ve experienced 3 different classes the past two years. We have had no complaints! The kids love going to school everyday and are so excited to see their teachers. The best part about this school is that the kids in preschool go to specials, just like the elementary kids. They attend music, art, pe, Spanish, and computers. For two year olds they do most of this in their classrooms. The three year olds begin to go to these classes. And by four they attend them all outside of their classroom. And they have separate teachers for each special. The kids just love this!
