Buffalo Collection

Buffalo Collection is wonderful! Very special offerings and fabulous owners. I have purchased several décor items and am currently working with Michael on custom, buffalo hide kitchen counter stools. Michael and Laura are such a pleasure to work with, fun to visit and the quality and craftsmanship can’t be beat. Some of their pieces (like the chair you sit in to have your sale written up) are much older and the patina and softness will blow your mind. The furniture gets even better with age.
This store is a destination and ‘Must’. I wish my couch was dying and not just a year old. Some day, I’ll be buying one of their buffalo hide sofas!

This is an amazing store with treasures galore. The owners, Laura & Michael are really knowledgable, helpful and low key. They have a lot of custom pieces including amazing pillows and accessories. We bought a number of items that we shipped to our home out-​of-​state. They packed the items beautifully and they arrived quickly. Stop in and you will see some amazing craftsmanship, superb decorating ideas at prices that are not out of this world.

The large mounted buffalo head outside The Buffalo Collection at Scenic Mesa caught my eye and drew me in to this store. Wow. Every piece of furniture is made from buffalo. The man working in the store explained to us that a few years ago when buffalo meat became so popular, they found that the hides and skins were going to landfills and only the meat was used. Arrangements were made and now amazingly gorgeous handcrafted work is available to you and me.
Exquisite soft leather formed in to luscious deep couches and chairs just begging to be sat in fill this entire store. Some of the chairs and ottomans are covered in soft, cushiony sheared buffalo fur. There are bed throws and rugs as well and believe me, your feet just sink right in to these rugs. There was a very unusual rug in the store that was made from strips of soft buffalo leather and it was unique and interesting. I couldn’t help but keep running my hands over it.
The store smells of buttery, well worked leather and puts you in to a bit of a sensory experience as you sit down on one of their deep, soft chairs. There’s plenty of unusual, wood pieces in the store as well like lamps, tables and art pieces.
When I hit the lottery I’m coming back here and outfitting my entire house.
