Best Face Skin and Makeup

It’s taken me a couple weeks to write this review because I really hate giving bad reviews to local businesses. I decided to try the salon for a Brazilian after buying a deal through groupon. The salon itself is very clean, and welcoming. Tiffany explained to me that she uses soy wax. The benefit of this type of wax is it supposedly only adheres to the hair, not the skin… I believe she was misinformed. The wax itself was relatively painless, and at the end she asked me to look to see if anything needed touched up… well it was pretty dark and I couldn’t see much, so I said it was fine. When I got home, I noticed that she had clearly missed some sections, which was pretty disappointing, but what was worse was the bright red color of my skin. At first, I thought it was just irritated from the service, so I didn’t worry. The next day the skin was no longer red, it was SCABBED! A section about 3“x ½″ of my skin had been removed and was now scabbed; it was not attractive, comfortable or acceptable. I really liked Tiffany, and the salon was very cute. Unfortunately, I can’t go back, or recommend her waxing services.

Well it took me 3 months to get back to Best Face Skin & Makeup because I took a position as a General Manager that took 75 hours a week out of my life. Now that I am more settled down in my current position I had time to go back to Tiffany for another eye brow wax and facial.
I am reviewing her for the third time and wonder why people haven’t found her or experienced the services. Very reasonably priced and Tiffany is a true professional. Centrally located in Old Town Scottsdale.
