Arizona Hair Co

I’ve never been to Arizona Hair Company before and I decided to go in and get an ombré today. Daniel, the manager, did my hair. He was extremely friendly, professional and funny. He was great at his job, especially the multi-​tasking that managers have to deal with. There was an minor issue with a previous client while I was in there and he immediately excused himself and went to the front and handled it. He did a fantastic job with my hair, giving me exactly what I asked for, while keeping the integrity. I’m so happy with it. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing!
My hair has been a nice golden blonde my whole life and I have always wanted platinum blonde hair. After today, my hair dreams have come true! Daniel Braunel was so incredible and took so much time and effort on making me that perfect blonde I wanted. I can truly say I went in with a picture in mind and knowing what I wanted and left with hair that exceeded those expectations. I recommend him 100%, he will go above and beyond to make sure you get the hair you want!

SO sad that my favorite stylists have left this salon, .Nadine in particular! My daughters and I love her personality and her fantastic scissor skills. I’m thrilled with her highlighting – I get compliments after every session with her!
But, just found out Nadine is over at the Phenix Salon Suites at Thunderbird and Scottsdale for those who are still on the hunt for a great stylist with equally great energy.

Needed a little trim, ended up with a grim, used a stylist named William, will not be using his service no more.

Just went into Arizona Hair for a quick cut. When I arrived there were no other customers and the place seemed very clean. I was put with the only male at the time– can’t recall his name and he was very friendly. He asked what I wanted and I very clearly explained that I wanted shorter hair but in the past I have not really been happy with cuts because they usually cut it too short (hence why it had been almost 6 months since last cut). You think with this information the hairdresser would have been more cautious and considerate. Needless to say the cut was far too short. After explaining that I I don’t Like to use product, he proceeded to add product to try and convince me he cut it the way I wanted. Obviously you can manipulate hair with product but that’s not why I get my hair cut. Finally he never provided a mirror to see the back nor did he offer to cut my sideburns which is standard for virtually every $ 8 haircut.

Wow! Found my new hair salon. Linda gave a new sassy look. Highlights and cut. Love it!!!

Daniel did my hair last time and today. He takes his time and listens to you as to what you want. I am VERY impressed. Also, the scalp massage was amazing.
Certainly found myself a new hair stylist.

So pleased and happy at the way my baby’s first haircut turned out! I absolutely love it! Better than I could have imagined. After reading poor reviews and miserable experiences at other establishments that cut kids hair, I decided to give Arizona Hair a shot. Erika was amazing! I can’t praise her enough. Not only is she experienced at cutting children’s hair as she does her own kids, but she worked quickly yet efficiently with amazing results. She knew exactly what to do to make my baby feel comfortable with the whole experience. I didn’t have a screaming crying scared baby which made the process so wonderful. I can’t stop staring at my baby’s beautiful cut! Great job Erika!

Unfortunately, in this case you get what you pay for. I wanted to get a good 4 inches off my long hair and some minor layers. The stylist wanted to skip washing my hair which I thought we really needed to do to get an accurate cut, so he did. Then he literally had me stand up out of the chair to cut a straight line at the back of my hair. This reminded me of when my mom used to cut my hair as a little girl. Almost all the salons I’ve ever been to cut the back in various sections so that they can get it to lay right and straight. My layers in the front to frame my face are really uneven and even a month later I’m regretting that I ever went here. I’m just waiting for my hair to grow back a bit so that I can get it cut again (at a better salon…). I really hate writing such a negative review, but it’s the truth.

I made an appointment with Ana to get my roots touched up and a refresher of my pixie cut. I have been bleaching my hair for over a year now and have had a pixie cut for a long time. Ana knew exactly what my hair needed and how to do it right! With the darkness level at which my hair naturally grows, some stylists would have trouble getting it light enough without making me bald! Ana is a pro, though and made it come out beautifully light and toned and she was quick too! I’m so very pleased with her! The salon was overall a friendly place, not too flashy and really comfortable. I highly recommend them! I had time to watch other clients and stylists working together and I can see that all of the stylists do high calibre work. Thanks all y’all! See you in 6 weeks!

I had a great experience with Dan today. He wasn’t too chatty during the hair cutting process, which I actually appreciated because you could tell he was really focused on getting the cut just right. For $ 15, I was very impressed, I will definitely be a return customer!

Has been a good location for me, a great haircut in a polite environment.

I’ve searched for three years to find a hair stylist as good as my stylist of 15 years in Las Vegas. I’m happy to say that my search has come to an end with the discovery of Arizona Hair Co. and Anna, who is just a treasure. Anna is not only a top-​flight stylist, she’s a charming and warm person. She also listens well, a priority for me. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is truly one of Scottsdale’s best!

I was greeted nicely as I walked in. Shop looked kinda rundown and outdated. The receptionist had me wait while she went next store to gather staff. I was greeted by my stylist who had foil pieces in her hair. She was nice and gave me a nice haircut. The rest of the staff was off key and gave off a rude feeling. Making the experience uncomfortable. They mentioned the owner in conversation and how she wasn’t even there. As my haircut was finished I walked towards the front desk. While waiting to be rung up, it took three employees to figure out the register. I was asked if I wanted to add a tip on my debit card which I replied yes, I said the amount and they made me repeat myself two more times as if she was in disbelief. How rude I thought. She handed me my card back, I said thank you. I said bye to the stylist and she gave me her card, when one of the other stylist says thank you while looking down in a rude tone as if thats something they are programmed to say. Overall my stylist was great but with the rude unsettling feeling in the environment will make me think twice before visiting again.

I’ve had some nightmare experiences, so hesitant about having to find a new place on my new town. After asking the few GFs I have in town, and checking Unilocal reviews, I finally decided to give them a try.
I needed both a highlight and a trim but have had such bad luck with new (to me) people that I decided to do just the highlight portion (it has been wayyy too long since my last, I am very near to the hombre look!).
I got Liz. She was very nice and did a GREAT job with my highlights. I’m not a huge talker when I get my hair done, probably mostly because I am hairstylist — shy now. Liz wasn’t pushy and over talkative, which I appreciated.
I’ll definitely go back. I really need to get my trim!

I’ve got long straight hair that I’m growing so I can donate it so I just need a simple trim on the back and my bangs. Tried hair salons but everyone wanted to charge me their normal ridiculous amounts. I’m not spending that on a trim!
Found this company bc they were cutting hair at the Women’s Expo for $ 5 donations. They were fun and did a great job. When I found out their cuts were $ 15, even better. Haircut includes a shampoo. If you want a specialty cut, it’s $ 16. Not bad for the price. I’d recommend.

I’ve had my hair cut by Nadine several times, and I will definitely keep going back to her! I have big, long, curly hair, which can be a challenge to some hairdressers, but she does a great job and doesn’t mind that my hair can be a time-​consuming appt!

Just got a haircut from Erika and she did exactly what I wanted without me even knowing how to say it! She spends a lot of time doing your hair and doesn’t just do a half ass job. You can tell she cares about what she does which makes a world of a difference! So happy with my cut!

The website has a $ 2 off coupon, so that makes a men’s haircut 13 bucks, but you have to tip, so it comes out to $ 15 anyway. Nothing great about the haircut really. The girl who cut my hair was nice and we chatted during cut, but she was very young and inexperienced. Nothing got destroyed on my head. It was a middle of the road cut for a walk-​in. Might be better if you were a regular and knew someone here that you trusted. Still, it was a very friendly place and a good one-​time cut if you need one quickly (i had a 10 minute wait at 11am midweek)

I like it here! Good location (for me) at FLW Blvd/​Via Linda and CHEAP!
I’ve gone to Lacey a few times now and she’s great! She truly listens to me and communicates effectively (crucial in getting the haircut you want).
The salon is in a strip-​mall and has that Fantastic Sam’s/Super Cuts feel to it (so don’t go if you’re seeking a luxurious day salon-​type ambience). I got a haircut (about 7″ cut off), deep conditioning treatment and blow/​style for $ 35.
I also loved the fact that they were very accommodating to let me come back (I wasn’t 100% happy w/​my new cut) the very next day and get some more length cut off — no charge and with a huge smile.
