No scratches dents, looks brand new. Wow. Price: Phenomenal– Great value for the price. Other company’s that finance double the price, they dont. They shipped my computer right away upon payment. Free secure delivery– I needed to sign for product. Smooth transaction and everyone is really nice when you call them. Performance: Great, no issues, computer has latest system installed and works like a charm. I will be back as a repeat customer and I will recommend them to others. If you are thinking about using these guys, I highly recommend them.

We bought a laptop at Ample Bay. After one day, it didn’t work, and I couldn’t determine if it was the charger or laptop. (the computer was not compatible with any chargers I had at home). I called and asked them to send me a new charger (we live 150 miles away), five days went by and no charger, with no one returning my calls. Finally after a week (and by then my return warranty had run out) they sent me a charger but it was the wrong one.
Called again for another charger (again didn’t know if it was the computer or charger), no supervisor returned my calls. Finally an associate contacted me and I asked for an extension on the 7 day warranty. I was told no way. And they insisted I needed to send them pictures of the chargers that didn’t work… well you get the idea… terrible customer service, no backing up of products they sell.
I had to buy my own charger (out another $ 50) thankfully it was the problem and not the computer.
I don’t recommend these folks they seem to be in the business for the short haul… no customer service skills or interest in retaining existing customers.

So it’s only been one day since I got the laptop, but I’ll definitely log back in if it bursts into flames or something.
What a great place. Dealt with Jack almost exclusively– knowledgable, helpful, and professional both on the phone and in person. In short, I needed a MacBook Pro for music/​film work and looked around town for a good place to start. Went to a few places with less than solid results– expensive and prices change every few minutes if you speak with the wrong people.
Found AmpleBay and swung by. Jack had me set up within minutes. A hard drive swap and few minutes later and I was out the door. More importantly, the laptop is in near-​perfect condition with specs I couldn’t find online or in person at the price Jack quoted. Well worth the drive for a blindingly fast, RAM-​stocked, clean Mac machine.
Big thanks to Jack and AmpleBay/​Macs! I will refer this place until further notice for anyone looking for preowned Mac products.

Went to this place to see their merchandise, and saw their iPad selection. Nice prices, picked up an iPad mini 2, very good shape.
Everything here that I’ve seen is in like new condition, and very well maintained. If I get any other hardware, the first place I’m coming is to this place. They sell tv, mac desktops and laptops, some customs that were made for others and hard to find, along with new brands that were lightly used and discounted a lot.

Our daughter’s very new HP Laptop Computer decided to die. Got her money back, so we went to Ample Bay looking for a good deal on a late model Apple Laptop. Was impressed with the store itself, well organized and displayed. Large inventory of laptops, computers, tablets and more. Excellent selection.
We found one that we liked, and asked Jay many, many questions about it’s innards, programs and more. He had great knowledge of these products and with ease handled all of our questions. We discussed some upgrades, operating system requirements, adequate memory sizes and more. He was up on it all.
Their «shop» was next door, so the extra memory upgrade took ten minutes, and the additional software request took only minutes. Their optional insurance program is affordable and extensive, in addition to the store’s own 3 month coverage.
There is no way I’d buy used from an individual, and felt very secure going to a business with a great reputation. Jay made the entire process enjoyable and painless.
If you are needing a quality, used Apple Product, I would recommend this business to anyone. As our future needs grow, we will return.

I’ve been meaning to give Rich and company this review for over a month now, but better late than never.
If you have a iPhone, a mac compy, tablet, or anything… GO HERE! Pretty much everything you could want in a company, in service and in straightforward honesty are here. And i’m certainly a tough critic on all those.
What they did for me was update my older macbook pro 15″. New operating system, and added hard drive. They were able to do it in just a couple days. (GYI the other places won’t give you a timeline and are generally 3 – 5 ties more expensive). I also had them replace my screen on it that was going out. So all in all the lil’ compy got a makeover for under a couple hundred bucks. AND Rich discounted it more than he quoted me on the phone.
Later I found out I need to go back and get some RAM added and Rich dropped in it on the spot within ten mins and I was on my way.
Listen! I can’t tell you enough. If you appreciate good people, new local business that deserves your money and you get what you want in return in all those things I listed. Bring whatever you have that ails you. At the very least they’ll always have a solution, and more than likely they’ll be your solution! AMPLEBAY? AMPLEYAYYY! =)

I decided I needed a Macbook Pro 13″ for business presentations for my video production business, and also to do mobile video editing. I thought I would need to visit 3 stores to see who had the best price on a refurbished Macbook Pro. Ample Macs was the first place I went to to check inventory and prices. Not only did they have the exact configuration that I wanted, but they had a great price as well. They even offered an upgrade at a really low price to seal the deal. I bought my new laptop on the spot, and they saved me driving all over town. Even some of the other stores buy their inventory from Amplemacs. I had my MacBook Pro repaired and upgraded because it was running sluggishly. These guys did a great job at making it run like new again and the price is unbeatable too! Excellent service!
