I’ve been very impressed by Matt. I’ve had PT several times in my life and know the difference between good, bad and just average therapists. Matt is top of the line! Several times during sessions he even got down on the floor to demonstrate exercises. Now that’s dedication to his work. He also tries different exercises until he finds ones that fit. I’m old and pretty crippled up with a 10-​level spinal fusion and arthritis, so I really appreciate that.
I recommend Matt Zwerling to anyone who needs a great physical therapist in the Santa Cruz area.

I have seen Matt for PT several times over several years. He does great work, listens and adapts to what you tell him better than most healthcare providers and in addition is just a very nice man. I highly recommend him with one caveat: if you’re the kind of person that can only schedule on the morning of, or you expect to be able to cancel an appointment and reschedule the next day he might not work for you — he is busy and for good reason and you need to be able to stick to your appointments.

Matthew Zwerling is smart, personable and professional. I’ve met my share of physical therapists in the last 20 years and was never so inspired on the first visit to follow-​through. I learned a lot today that will contribute to my long-​term health. I will let you know how it goes. Can;t wait to see what I learn next week. Our experience with Matthew Zwerling has been outstanding. He gets my family’s highest recommendation in every category. My sons case was a challenge but he knew what to do and even went way out of his way to do research and put together a custom plan combining home, office and specialized facilities. Definitely 5 stars.
