Don’t try to access your Sprint account here. Made an appointment for 6:15pm to pick up a new phone, and the rep in the Scotts Valley Radio Shack said that no appointment was made. Then he said that the appointment made was for 8:15pm, which it was not, and I had the confirmation email, number, and order number to prove it. I even contacted Sprint by chat online while we were there, and they said that there was no issue, and that it should be all set up. The rep in the store said that he could not access my account or my purchase of the new phone because the appointment time was after closing time. He said to return the next day, and upon returning, he said that he couldn’t help us because the appointment was expired, and the purchase cancelled. I can’t believe the complete inadequacy of the Sprint rep at this store. Now, we are having to pay the down payment and the taxes and fees for the phone AGAIN(I already paid online when I ordered the phone), and we’re being promised a refund(we’ve all heard that runaround before). I don’t appreciate having to make a double payment, and I don’t appreciate having to go to the store twice.

This Sprint location just opened… and even though I think the manager at the Capitola store is great, I was VERY happy not to have to fight traffic to get there when I desperately needed a new phone. And you know what? I discovered that Michael White, the manager of the Sprint store here in Scotts Valley, is just as awesome! I can’t say enough nice things about him. He was very patient, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and perfect at troubleshooting… he had to try several different ways to get my contacts transferred from my practically vintage Motorola to my new Samsung S6 Edge, but he finally succeeded and I’m quite happy to not have to do that manually! I’m a WAY happy customer. A BIG thanks to Sprint for opening a Scotts Valley store, and thanks for hiring such a cool manager. Highly recommend!
