Mt Hermon Road Self Storage

I’m usually reluctant to give out 5 stars, but since I’m only the 2^nd reviewer, and I’m still storing my stuff there — I better tread lightly! Besides, I can’t really think of a reason to take one star away from them. The facility is in excellent condition, and yes — I, my son, and buddy, all received water when we done working. They did extend a 50% off for a full month’s storage. Pricing to me, coming from San Jose and so many choices over there — was I thought a little on the high side, but it is competitive with pricing in Santa Cruz county I believe. In this case, the convenience was the most important.
They are friendly, John especially so as we came in and parked the truck (advice, and helped with a lock for one day since we forgot to bring ours).
So, I echo Nadine R. and her thoughts pretty much. The place is well laid out, clean, easily accessible, the folks there good to deal with — so, o.k. Keep the five stars!

CanNOT say enough GOOD about this business!!! Managers Pam and John are 2 of the friendliest, kindest, most helpful people I’ve ever had the pleasure to do business with!
Is the facility clean? Extremely.
Is the facility secure? Absolutely.
Are their prices competitive? Yes again. Plus there is easy access, great gate hours, and tons of parking.
In fact, storing here may be better than a relatives attic!
Pam and John have gone the extra mile at every turn for me including making it ultra easy for me to meet Craigslist buyers there when I was paring down on possessions and transferring to a smaller unit (which they made sure was extremely close to my bigger unit), EVERYTHING done promptly and graciously including their giving me cold, bottled water on moving day!
For those of you over 50, this is good olé customer service.
For those of you under 50, this is what customer service SHOULD be!!!
I have rented in other storage facilities in Santa Cruz. Never again. This place is totally worth the quick drive to Scott’s Valley. Call them first. You won’t regret it!
