A Child’s Connection

I live behind this preschool. I hear children screaming in pain often, and teachers yelling at the children. The children run around uncontrollably screaming all day long. I have lived here ten years. I have never had a problem with the preschool. However, it seems that the preschool is not interested in being good neighbors, or teaching their enrolled children manners. I have left the preschool a message to call me back and let’s work together to get this under control. If they do not, I will be contacting Scotts Valley Police and State licensing. It is unbearable.

We have enjoyed sending our children to A Child’s Connection since last summer (June 2011) — and the kids enjoy the time they spend there. They pick up from Vine Hill Elementary and help my daughter with her homework during after school care and her brother is there all day. My son learns about socilization and they have circle time to learn about the calendar and weather. It is not too challenging for him and he enjoys to play here. The staff is loving and great with positive disipline. Melody is very understanding and involved hands on in the daily operations of her school. She promotes a sence of community with extra events for families like pot lucks and date nights and she encourages business networking among the parents. We love our school and you will too! (I am a former Pre-​School teacher turned Mom-​I know first hand it is a difficult job and they do it well!)

Great preschool… wonderful teachers. The staff are very caring and Melody is really a great director. Very hands on. Cassandra is sweet with the kids too… ya! The trees in the outside area are great too. Your kids will love it here.

We came here after leaving a very prominent Montessori school in Aptos which shall remain nameless. My son is 4 and was very unhappy at his old school who would not let him nap among other things.
Melody took us in with open arms. Within 3 days our son was a different child. He was napping and he was also very happy!
The staff adores the children and they clearly understand BOYS! I am so grateful to Melody and the staff for taking such good care of our son.
