This place is excellent. The coffee is great and the employees are friendly and helpful. And it isn’t Charbucks! Great place to hang out or get your coffee to go.

This isn’t a very good place. I was the only customer in the whole place when I walked in, and it still took several minutes for me to place my coffee order, because I had to wait for the guy behind the counter to get off the phone. I then proceeded to order several things, only to hear the guy behind the counter say«We’re out of that right now.» I finally ordered a frappé that took at least six minutes to make. I could have made it better myself at home in my own kitchen. It definitely wasn’t worth the $ 4.55 that I was charged. There were a number of people sitting around the store, but none were eating or drinking anything. They all seemed to be known to the guy behind the counter, and were just there to hang out. I sat in the coffee shop for about an hour doing work on my laptop, and there wasn’t a single customer other than me during that whole time. I hate to talk badly about a small business, but this one isn’t worth patronizing. Consider a different coffee shop.

I waited patiently as the woman who barely spoke English finished with the first customers. Requested an ice coffee and was told that they were out of ice for the day… I then ordered a small black coffee I handed a five dollar bill and was asked if I had anything smaller… I than offered my card to complete transaction… It’s extremely hard to support small businesses…

This is the worst coffee shop I’ve been to in Atlanta. The coffee is served out of styrofoam cups only. Worker had a noisy sports game on the whole time. There was a strong chemical smell. A lot of the furniture is rather beat up and stuffy. Corny jazz playing that clashes with the noisy game. I did like the wall decals and the service was fine, but that’s about it.

I stopped by this place on a weekday morning before work; I was in the area and didn’t have time to eat, so I wanted a quick bite and coffee. First, to confirm a previous review, the place had an overwhelming cleanser smell. That and the complete absence of any signs of life greeted me upon entry. The pastry display to the left of the entrance was near empty, besides bottled juices/drinks. It was about a minute before I was greeted; I was offered«Columbian» or «Cuban» coffee, and I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was described as having egg, turkey, swiss, on either a croissant or wheat bread. He went to the back to prepare my sandwich before giving me any coffee, and I was left sitting in the empty place for 6 minutes. Finally, he emerged with my to-go box and started to make my «Cuban» coffee, which was coffee grounds from a tin placed hastily in an espresso machine(for which he used the bottom of a plastic spice container as a damper), made two large espresso shots, poured it into a cup with some light brown leftover water, which did not look at all appealing, and poured in requested cream; where it came from I did not know. It came out to about $ 10, which was a bit more than I expected($ 6 sandwich and $ 3 coffee). I opened my box to reveal a large sandwich with three baby carrot sticks and a small strawberry. Unfortunately, the sandwich did not have any turkey, and the bread was unmistakably microwaved and had the same texture as the sponge which with I wash my dishes. At least it tasted fine and the cheese was melted, but the lack of turkey for $ 6 was disappointing. I cannot recommend this place, especially for coffee lovers that might be led astray by the lofty name. Also, for the prices, you’re better off at any number of other places. At least the service was with a smile!

A warm and inviting atmosphere is the best way to describe this environment. Every cup of coffee is served with love. You can tell the owner has a passion for people and the coffee itself. I would compare this to the most well known, high end shops anywhere in the metro area. The shop is conveniently located on North Decatur and is close to the Emory area. A great place to study for your next exam.

Hmmm… First hint: Empty parking lot on a Sunday morning. Nonetheless, I was in need of coffee and on a time crunch. Second hint: Absolutely overwhelming smell of chemical cleanser. The window proudly says; breakfast, pastries & sandwiches. Silly me, I sorta expected the smell of a bakery to welcome me. Adding insult to(olfactory) insult, the place was filthy inside. Just exactly *what* were they doing with that cleaser?! Third hint: Standing behind the counter for almost 10 mintues without a soul in sight. Bonus: This did give me ample time to admire the different types of bugs who were hanging out on the pastry case. Ok.Ok.I can take a hint! I headed out, and won’t be back again. Scary!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this location & it looks like the staff has changed & the neighborhood has embraced it a bit more. Cozy little hangout with Wi-Fi and fresh brewed coffee brewing, just did a stop and go picking up an Iced Coffee. They do there brew a little bit more personable than Starbucks and I love giving the underdog a shot. If you’re in the area give them a try, Atlanta’s best? maybe one of Atlanta’s finer shops.

It’s nice to patron the little guys, and while it may not be as established as a Starbucks, Atlanta’s Best Coffee some nice flavors. Located in a very tiny strip mall off North Decatur Road, I paid this place a visit. Definitely it’s larger inside than it looks, with several places for sitting, both indoor and outdoors. The coffee itself is a basic blend that can have staple flavors added to it(vanilla, hazel nut, caramel, etc). It’s interesting when after you decide you want cream, they slide you the entire container of liquid creamer to pour it yourself at the cash register… almost makes you feel like you’re at someone’s house and not at a store. I got the grande coffee with hazel nut($ 2.00) with cream, and because I saw a sign that said baked fresh daily, I also grabbed a croissant($ 2.25). I definitely was disappointed to see them head to the back to place my croissant in the microwave, giving the bread that thick, rubbery taste(not really the fresh taste I was looking for!). They also have pastries, cakes, and they make sandwiches also, though I didn’t try any this time. I’ve come here both in the evening, after 8pm, and around noon… each time not having more than a couple of people inside, which can be awesome if you’re trying to study. Definitely enjoyable coffee and atmosphere, and WiFi is free. I’d have given this place 4 stars for the nice homely feel, but I couldn’t get over the microwaved croissant, which was not the flakey, melt in your mouth freshness that I was seeking. Beyond that, it’s a quality store, with good people running it, and I hope they stick around.

This is absolutely ‘The Best Coffee’ in Atlanta! The Cakes and Pastry is made fresh, daily. They also offer a full menu of Salads, Sandwiches and other refreshing beverages… The Café offers free WiFi and a comfortable Conference Room for your group meetings. The owners, Naz(I) and Naz(B) are both from the world’s best coffee growing region, Eritrea, East Africa and they know coffee. In fact, they are nicknamed ‘The Coffee People’!
