The RiverHouse

I got a burger with blue cheese and bacon and it might be the best burger I’ve ever had! My husband and friend got the Mardi gras burger and nacho-​z burger and they both said they were really good. So far we’ve had three sangria and it’s quite tasty. It tastes like Malibu rum and pineapple just a little weaker

We had seen The Riverhouse mentioned by several people and just got around to trying it out. The afternoon we were there it was just a little cool for us to sit outside although several folk were. (Some infrared heaters would be nice to take the edge off on days like this.) We were waited on quickly and got our food ordered. The spinach dip was hot and fresh and they were very accommodating to bring some bread with the chips since my wife is allergic to anything corn. We had both ordered hot sandwiches which arrived a bit too quickly for us to savor the appetizer. The sandwiches were fresh and hot and both were sized such that we really could have ordered one and split. We then had the Mississippi Mud cake with Salted Carmel ice cream for dessert. Wife loved the dessert. I am not a big chocolate eater so I’ll defer to her opinion there. The ice cream was delicious.
Overall it was a very good experience. The setting is wonderful and the food was good to very good. Staff was friendly.
Downside was no heaters on patio, server was very sick, and we never got offered refills on drinks.

The location was lovely and easily the main attraction. It is worth the trip.
The food was not anything special, and the wine list is okay. I thought it was funny, but helpful, as the sweetness level was listed by each wine.
9÷17÷15 update – They allow smoking outside. We went back with my mom, who is obviously bald from chemo, and it was not very busy (only 4 tables filled outside), and a group of smokers were sat next to us. When we politely asked them to stop they didn’t. We packed it up and left.

If ur looking for armosphere, beautiful views, laid back fun, excellent food n wine selection, great staff, live music, and fun for all, look no more. This is the place!
