We treat ourselves to Popeye’s twice a year. We look forward to the next time after each meal. This evening, we placed a rather sizable order which was taken by a sullen young man and a manager with zero personality. The staff has always been nice here. This popeyes is recently renovated and looks much nicer on the inside. Has that clean new feel to. Came to try the waffle chicken tenders cause I kept seeing it on commercial. Loved it! Definitely can taste the waffle in the breading and with the honey maple sauce it’s a beautiful marriage between chicken and waffles. worlds better than lays attempt with their chicken and waffle flavored chips. Oh, and they have amazing buttery biscuits :)

I ordered a kid’s meal (red bean and rice side). I left the drive thru and realized I had gotten chicken tenders. I returned to the drive thru, they took my receipt and put the nuggets on top of the tenders and handed me the box. I was almost home and realized that my red bean and rice was not in the bag, the nuggets tasted like they were spoilt. I returned to the drive thru and watched while they walked back and forth having a party in the back while I waited at the window. I asked for a refund. This was 50 minutes wasted. The service is usually slow and order incorrect but this took the cake.

This was the nicest most courteous service. I wanted to go back there as soon as I left… so nice… but when I ate the chicken it was so overcooked it was cinders… it had no flavor at all it was so petrified. the breast was like sawdust… the garlic pepper was even worse. such nice people… terrible inedible chicken… have had it at other locations and was great… but not here.
