Nails Place

I’m only giving it one star as the owner and the rest of the nail techs were nice, but that’s all. The nail tech that I had, completed my pedicure and without polishing my nails in 9 minutes. My manicure was maybe 10 minutes. She took the longest painting my nails, which seemed like forever. The nail tech (that I had) got upset with me as I asked if I could try colors behind the desks, when there was no similar colors on display. I was extremely disappointed and annoyed as I sat and watched every other customer have longer mani and pedis (from start to finish) and massage while their nails were dry. I’m not one to write a review but I’m pissed off, since I’m paying the same amount like every other customer and getting half the job. The nail tech is older woman that wears glasses and is short. I would never come back nor not recommend any of my friends, nor anyone else coming here unless it’s another nail tech.

Relax in big comfy massage chairs while getting an awesome pedicure surrounded by non judgmental staff and customers. Zoe (the owner) is a «one-​of-​a-​kind» and really knows her stuff.
The place is very clean — we just talk dirty there!

The only place I get my nails done! This salon is so clean, all the ladies are professionals and the owner Zoe is a riot!

I was a walk in and they took me right away. Very friendly staff. Made you feel comfortable from the moment you walked in. Excellent pedicure, made me feel wonderful. The friendly staff made me very happy that I stopped here. Lucia did a wonderful job. I will be back.

Best place I’ve been into in years! Owner was nice and she gave me a coffee. Great pedicure w/​Maggie. She is nice & detailed oriented. Regular pedicure includes warm wax in heels, stone massage, hot towel on legs, lavender scented lotion & mini shoulder massage. Place is very clean and well ventilated. Products used are of good quality and tools are throughly cleaned. Will recommend to everyone I know.

I found this place after I received a terrible and painful manicure from another local nail salon. I searched Unilocal and found this location.
The manager (Zoe?) was WONDERFUL! When I called, I let her know I needed another locations manicure undone. She told me to come right in and had everything set up for me when I got there. Maggie is the person who did my nails and man oh man, did she do a BEAUTIFUL job. My nails before coming here were bumpy, uneven and awful. She evened them out, took care of my cuticles, and painted them with a beautiful sparkly purple/​brown. She was gentle, and so sweet!
I came back this week for another mani/​pedi. They did a lovely job! Needless to say, I’ve found my new nail spot!
This place is seriously the BEST place I’ve ever gotten a Manicure.
The atmosphere is calming, they have coffee and tea, they even give you a little back massage while your nails are drying.
Do yourself a favor and come see the girls here!!! They will take care of you!
As a bonus, the prices are very reasonable!

Just between us guys who like to get mani-​pedis, this place is great! Some places look at you a little weird when you want a professional nail job, but the Nails Place didn’t. They didn’t bat an eyelash. There were a few jokes about what color I wanted for my nails, but you could tell it was all in good fun.
The knew exactly how to cut a guy’s nails (square-​round and short) and buffed them until they gleamed. Most guys don’t know that when you shake hands people notice your nails. Great nails are important. They make a good impression. And honestly? Most of my girl-​friends would love their boyfriend/​husband to get a manicure. Just because you’re a guy doesn’t mean you can’t take care of yourself.
I’m going in in a little while for my every-​two-​week treatment and am quite looking forward to it!

First visit to the salon. I had Clara. She was very professional and did a beautiful job on my hands and feet. This will be my go to place for my nails from now on.

I am around local area and was looking for a nice clean atmosphere nail salon. This place is really clean and zoey the owner who speaks perfect English is so professional! I highly recommend. I got mani pedi for $ 35. It was little bit more than other salons but it was quality work! I will be back!

Even though I live quite some distance, I will be frequenting this nail salon. I walked in this morning (Saturday) and was warmly greeted by Zoey and her lovely staff. I did not have appointment, and was taken care of immediately. Everyone is super sweet. The place is very, very clean.
My favorite part, however, is the quality of their work. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The girl who did my pedicure meticulously cleaned and shaped my nails until I couldn’t even recognize they were my own! They also strap this moisturizer on to your heels and my god, my heels are like new– so smooth! I loved that! My gel manicure was done perfectly– not too thick and gloppy like some places. I wasn’t sure which color I wanted to go with, and the technicians were really patient with me. I truly appreciate that.
In short. I’ve been going to many nail salons for quite some time– this is easily one of the best.

They use quality products. Take their time when waxing, experts at eyebrow shaping.

Me and my boyfriend have been going here for almost a year and I love the salon and their services. I typically get a pedicure which is always great. I had my tips put on by the salon down the street, I asked for crystal discovered at the Nail Place that it was acylic and poorly done because after 2 weeks I had fungus. The technician took her time to fix the mess and made them look great. They are always professional and friendly and to date have provided excellent service.

First time there. Walked in and took me on the spot for mani-​pedi! Wonderful customer service and super nice staff all around! Took their time and did a great job! Very clean — BONUS! So welcoming! Will definitely be back!

Staff is friendly and the head nail person speaks excellent English. But you need to make an appointment — they are a bit iffy if you are a walk in. They did take me after about a 15 minute wait. Being that they are the only nail place in downtown Scotch Plains, they should be more accomodating to walk ins.

It was my first time being here and the customer service experience was GREAT! I walked in at 6:15pm knowing they close at 7pm but Zoe accepted me no questions asked. The place was very clean and very well organized. Zoe and i had conversations if various things. She was very kind and attentive at what you want done. She made me feel extremely comfortable. The place i feel charges cheaper than other places ive been to as well so thats a plus. I will most definitely be going back there again. Thank you Zoe :)

Very nice, clean nail salon. Staff and owner very friendly. They do a great job on mani-​pedis; they take their time and do it right. Its the only place I go to now.
