I’ve needed my Chinese food fix and I’ve been going to Feng Shui in cohasset but the quality has not been good imo. I tried China Gourmet and wasn’t expecting much, but I am very satisfied with the last two times I’ve gone. crab rangoons, Thai noodles peanut chicken. It was less expensive and their portions are good. I’m glad I don’t have to make he trek to cohasset.
They do have lunch and dinner specials (combo plates)
So, if it’s just 2 people you can get a good variety for under $ 20.

Our favorite Chinese take out and it’s right in my own town! Staff is always polite, friendly and accommodating. Service is always accurate and very fast. When they say 10 minutes. it means ten minutes! Vegetable Lo Mein is perfect. Chicken wings are crispy and meaty. Spinach fried rice is to die for. Prices are very reasonable and portions are appropriate. Would like to see some menu additions from time to time though. Overall, I highly recommend.

The people are very nice and every time I order a pick up they say 10 minutes. Very quick and they are generous with their servings. Everything is really tasty and it’s not too expensive.

Chinese food can be a crap shoot. One week a place is good, the next it can be crappy. I think China Gourmet has held pretty steady with consistently good food, good prices and generous portions. If you live in Scituate I cannot see going anywhere else for Chinese take out. Remember it is take out only

This place always tells you ten minutes when calling in and it is always ready and on time… Only improvement would be to add delivery service, because I’m lazy. But the food is actually really clean, and unlike the usual crazy heavy grease that comes with Chinese.
