The food is amzing, never have I had a bad meal. I don’t just go for one thing because the advertiment on the food make me want to try different thing each time. One thing I think could be impoved is on takeout orders to double check everything is correct they arent giving extra food away. I ordered take out and recived more then I payed for, I’ve also orded and didnt resive what I payed for. Other then that this place is very welcoming and is a place I will countine to go to.

I am giving Fong’s 3.5 stars. I ordered the Szechwan beef dinner and crab rangoon. The beef dish was good, not as spicy as expected. I can honestly say that it was not enough rice which is the opposite you would expect from a Chinese place. The crab rangoon left much to be desired as it was very doughy. I wanted crisp and fluffy deliciousness but that was not the case. It left me very disappointed especially that I ordered 8. Overall, not bad but not something I would crave. Also, they are open on Sunday( Unilocal says they are closed).

Food was pretty tasty. We ordered garlic beef, orange chicken, pork and vegetables, orange chicken, singapore noodles, hot and sour soup and salt and pepper pork. The best by far was the salt and pepper pork. The seasoning was spot on and the pork wasn’t dried out. The soup was terrible. It wasn’t balance and was entirely too sour. Someone was definitely heavy-handed with the vinegar. There seemed to be an endless amount of the noodles and the meat and the other dishes were tender and not too oily. Three stars because although we ordered quite a bit of food we did not receive one entrée(orange chicken) and received fried rice instead. I checked my e-mail receipt several times and everything was correct when we ordered it. I even had my cash ready(and I never have cash!) and was proud that I had a $ 5 tip for the deliverer. When he showed up he handed me another receipt and said it was 3 bucks more compared to my on-line receipt. Not fair for the driver, me thinks. I only ordered orange chicken for my friend and he never got it. Oh well, fried rice was good though. I might give Fong’s another shot, but think I’m done with delivery here. Morale of the Story: ALWAYS check your order when you receive it even though you ordered a ton of stuff.

When a had a hard day on work — i’m going to this place to feel myself better. I like so much noodles in this restaurant, it’s very tasty and fresh. I like to eat a lot, and dishes in this place big enough for me. Highly recommend!

The food was not bad. It was the closest place to my hotel that delivered. The delivery guy was friendly, food was delivered hot. Unfortunately the food took 1 hr to get here, maybe it’s the Chicago traffic, Idk. Portions were plenty and prices were not bad. The special noodles were good.

Potstickers were very doughy and the sauce tasted like pure red wine vinegar… could eat it. Egg rolls were not great. Had noodle dish and it was ok, just not anything special. Beef fried rice was hot and fresh. Probably won’t be back.

Fast, fresh, Fong’s! It was hard for me to choose how many stars I want to give this place. I work near here and it’s the only Chinese place that’s I was able to find so for that it already gets kudos points. For being fast and always fresh, definitely 5 stars. The food is always super hot so that’s how I know they made it fresh. Whether it’s to go or if you eat there, they are fairly fast. Not so fast that you have to wonder if they are just warning things up in a microwave. They recently renovated and the décor and seating is much nicer than before. For the taste of the food I would give 3 – 5 stars lol. It really depends on what you order on what day. Shrimp fried rice 5 stars. Most of soups 4 stars. The stir fry stuff 3 stars. Many of their stir fry dishes, especially those on the lunch specials menu seem to have the same sauce. So for this I want to give 3 stars. Also it’s doesn’t taste the same each time. Maybe they have different chefs depending on the day. However, it’s much better and cheaper than the place in the outlet mall and better than Panda Express(the other 2 Chinese places I found the area). I definitely recommend the Singapore noodles, fried rice, and their hot & sour, chicken noodle, and wonton soup. Everything else is decent but not super authentic nor memorable. Overall if you are craving Chinese food in this area that is near the Fashion Outlets and DES Convention Center, you should try Fong’s.

I had food delivered. I had the salt and pepper fish, the salt and pepper wings, and beef and broccoli. I enjoyed the food, the fish got a little doughie after a while but next time I’ll eat it first and it’ll be just fine. The only problem I had with this place was that the delivery time was an hour(I was told it would be on the phone so it’s not like I was waiting for food that never showed) and I was hoping it could be quicker. The upside is the food was good. My last little problem was that I didn’t want white rice with the order and was hoping for more flexibility in substituting a different item. This is the only reason they don’t get five stars. The long wait is fine because they told me. Delicious food@!

I came across this place reviewing Unilocal while traveling. Glad i did! Food is fresh not over cooked or understirred. The hot and sour soup is excellent. Rice is well cooked. So many times I order rice and it is old, over cooked and gummy. Not the case with Fong’s.

Delivery was fast and food was piping hot! Crab Rangoons were really good. Wish they would of included the red sweet & sour sauce tho(only complaint). I had the chicken kow, the meat and veggies tasted very fresh. My bf got the General Tso’s chicken and he enjoyed it. Huge portions for the lunch special. I recommend this place and will be ordering from here again!

They are under renovation but don’t let that stop you. The food is still DELICIOUS. I ordered beef and broccoli, orange chicken, pork fried rice, house spicy chicken with chow mein. The staff is always friendly, my order is always perfect.

Good food! Just wish their dine in area was a bit bigger. But not a big deal for me as I usually take out on my way to work. My favorites there are Mongolian beef, and chicken Teriyaki. You gotta try it for yourself!

My favorite Chinese place in the area, the lunch combos are awesome and the DO offer them for dinner(additional $ 2 I think) I recommend them to everyone I know. I wish they were closer to my house

I generally order for delivery. They never take longer than 35 – 45 min, even during dinner hour. Some of their better menu items are the Mongolian Beef, General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Egg Drop Soup, Hot-n-Sour Soup, Crab Rangoons and Pot Stickers. Overall this is a nice little Schiller Park gem and I highly recommend you give them a try!

A really slow service Chinese kitchen that takes forever for the food to come. At least they have a television right there in this agonizing wait.
