They have terrible customer service and do not stand behind their repair work. The owner and or manager is rude and condescending. Take your business else where if customer service and quality work is important to you. My best advise is go else where.

I was impressed by their nice selection of diamonds. They also carry other gems but it seems to be selective. The prices, for what you are getting are very fair.
Their customer service is great. I went in and saw Megan to get a price or help on some coins I had. She was super friendly, though they only really deal with precious metal coins she referred me to other places that might help. She also told me of their other store, but was not pushy. I liked that she referred me to more than one place.
I will be back for sure when I’m ready for something new and shiny!

Look NO further. the jewelry selection here is AMAZING! Tacori Hearts on Fire etc… however the professional customer service is why I Will continue to shop at this establishment. I stalked a piece of jewelry several different times before FINALLY making a purchase. CINDI was patient and kind every time I came into the store. She didn’t try to rush me or put pressure on me to make a decision ASAP. Everyone in the store is helpful and friendly (especially Derya) they go out of there way to ensure that you are well taken care of. If you want Gorgeous jewelry and GREAT customer service this is your place!!!

Wonderful experience here. . Alicia is the BEST! She helped my fiancé and I with our wedding bands and a watch for my fiancé. .. she is so patient and helpful! There is no pressure here, unlike other Jewelers. .. we will be going back for our future purchases!

The people at James And Sons always take excellent care of me, though I am anything but a «big spender!» Recently they cleaned my watch (bought in Grand Cayman 18 yrs. ago) for free — sent it out, had it water sealed, etc — and no charge! That’s what I call «above and beyond the call of duty» service! Way to go, James and Sons!

I was in the market to upgrade my wife’s wedding band for our 5th anniversary. My wife pointed out something she liked online and although they didn’t have it in the store, Katie at the Schererville store had the ring custom made for me. It turned out perfect and the wife absolutely LOVES it. Incredible customer service — Katie went above and beyond and I will not buy jewelry from anyone else. My family has been buying all of our jewelry from James & Sons for years. I have also sent many friends here to purchase engagement rings, and all have been very pleased. Most recently my husband and I purchased our wedding bands from here. James and Sons custom made my wedding band, and it is absolutely beautiful. They have a wide variety of jewelry at all of their stores, but they are also wonderful at designing and making unique pieces. Their prices are always very competitive, and I have found them to be less expensive than all other family-​owned jewelry stores in NW Indiana and the South Suburbs. I work with Alisa and John every time (they are in the Orland Park store) — both are wonderful and so kind. I have been to the Schererville store many times to browse and get my jewelry cleaned. Althought I usually shop at the Orland store, the staff at the Schererville store are just as nice and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend James & Sons highly enough!
