Tom’s Precision Floors

I obtained a few estimates for sanding the wood floors in my dining room, living room and a hallway. I went with Tom because his price was fair and he instilled confidence in the way he answered questions.
Tom and his crew arrived on time every day of the three day job, and worked quickly and professionally. They sealed doors with tape and used plastic sheeting to contain the dust from sanding. He seamlessly replaced a few boards that had stains from old water damage. On the second day (after the first coat), I noticed a board that had a few small stains that I knew would end up bugging me (yes, I am a nitpicker). Tom gladly replaced the board for no extra fee.
Despite all kinds of dings, heavy wear and a ton of carpet tacking holes, Tom did a great job. The almost 50 year old floors look brand new. I would recommend him to friends and we will have him back in the fall when we are ready to do a few bedrooms.

Last year when I bought my house I was looking for someone to refinish my hardwood floors before moving in. I asked my family and coworkers for recommendations and several people pointed me toward Tom’s Precision floors. I got quotes from three different flooring guys and Tom offered a very competitive price. One of the things that I really liked about Tom was that during the quote he actually suggested that I didn’t need to refinish the upstairs because the floors were in good condition. I was considering it anyway, but I appreciated that he gave me his honest opinion even though it meant less work/​less money for him.
He always arrived on-​time and did the work quickly and professionally. He was a pleasure to work with and I’ve recommended him to several people over the last year.
