My husband and I try to keep a tradition of coming here on the weekends. It’s a great neighborhood diner with fun and friendly staff and a good selection of food. They take the time to get to know the regulars, and the food is consistently good(so important!). The pumpkin pancakes are my favorite. My husband always goes for the French toast or ham steak special. Super fast service, as well. They’re fab.

This was the best diner I’ve been to so far in Rotterdam/Schenectady. The prices are pretty cheap with a ton of options. The food was really good. I got the blueberry pancakes, cinnamon raisin French toast, and sausage and cheese omelette. The pancakes and French toast were delicious. However, the omelette was just average. I would give this place 5 stars but the omelette, home fries, and sausage were the only downfall to the meal. I would recommend coming here for the French toast and pancakes because they have a wide variety of deluxe options. I will be back again!

This place is the worst! If I could give no stars for a review I would! The staff is not friendly, and the service is sub par. If you go here then you are making the biggest mistake of your life! I live within walking distance of Mike’s diner and would prefer driving to the 76 diner in Latham instead of going to this place. A better diner overall is the blue ribbon restaurant! If you go to Mike’s diner and know that the blue ribbon restaurant is available within a 6 mile radius then you have never had a good diner in your life. For example, the menu options at Mike’s diner are convoluted and do not include nearly as much food as the blue ribbon diner. Mike’s diner should be avoided at all costs! I promise you, I do not work for the blue ribbon diner and I’ve never been employed by the fine people at the blue ribbon diner this is an unbiased review and bottom line don’t go to Mike’s diner

The food was pretty good, but the service was one of the worst I have seen. 4 waitresses were more interested in chatting and laughing with each other than they were in serving customers. We arrived with a toddler and asked two times for a high chair and were told«in a minute» in spite of them not being busy with other customers. We finally had to go get it ourselves!

Found this place on Unilocal while on a long drive up the Thruway. Nice place with a small-town vibe. The four of us had breakfast. The food was very good. Service very friendly and efficient. Total cost was about $ 40. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

I’ve been here for breakfast a couple times now and everything is consistently good. I really like that they have a good selection of creative breakfast items. For instance, they of course have old reliable plain French toast, but they also offer French toast with toppings such as peanut butter and banana, peanut butter and jelly, cocoa, coconut cream, and, one of my favorites, chocolate coconut almond. They also have a really good selection of pancakes and omelets. The coffee is good and so are the home fries. They always have a wide variety of baked goods on the counter, including but not limited to several different types of muffins and Danishes. The service is quick and friendly. Definitely check out Mike’s Diner for yourself.

Went here fro breakfast. Service was excellent despite the diner being busy. Typical diner food that is prepared well. Recommended.
