My friends and I came to Chicago and decided leaving without trying out a deep dish pizza would be insane. We went on Unilocal and chose this place to be where we would get the famous pizza. We ordered a large pizza with sausages, pepperoni, and mushrooms. Between four girls, we couldn’t finish it. It was delicious in that the pizza was really good but the crust was super thick to me and I decided maybe deep dish isn’t exactly my cup of tea. It started getting really heavy in the end and we just couldn’t do it. The service was really nice and I really enjoyed our time here. The pizza did take really long though, about 20 – 30 minutes. I would recommend first timers to come here but I can’t compare this place to other deep dish pizzas in the area!

This is an out of the park restaurant. The garlic bread and salad was delicious. Our pizza was great. Our wait staff was wonderful and attentive. The pizza takes 35 minutes to bake, however it was worth the wait. The décor was so fantastic.

The pizza is excellent. I prefer carryout or delivery because their parking lot is difficult and is sometimes hard to get a table.

The only deep dish you’ll ever need. We love to take visiting guests for the best deep dish in town! Take my advice and get yourself the Lou(add pepperoni) & a Malnati salad, then you’re good to go!

I’m from South Carolina and was lucky enough to visit Chicago(go bears!) and wanted to try Chicago style pizza for the first time! Boy this place did not disappoint! Customer service over the phone was super friendly, food was delivered promptly and the pizza was insanely delicious! Thanks for such an amazing experience at Chicago style pizza!

I have to be in the mood for Lou’s to dine here or carry out. But when the craving for great deep dish pizza hits, Lou’s hits the spot, by far! We’ve also tried the low fat cheese, which is drier but still good. Mushroom and spinach combo is great. Not a fan of the giant sausage patty, but you can order«easy sausage.» Tried the special Lou’s baked mostiacioli too and it is delicious but enough for 2 – 3 people to eat. I have order Lou’s to be sent to my brother in FL and he loved it!

I love pizza from here! We came to this location for a family party. The two young men who helped us where wonderful despite the children that where bouncing off the walls. We didn’t get to wait at all for pizzas and they kept bringing more and more and asking if we needed anything. It was very pleasant coming here.

Chicago style pizza is allegedly pretty good so based on Unilocal reviews we came here for dinner. We are traveling on business from CA. The crowd was heavy all evening long yet we were seated in no more than 30 minutes. Customer service was just great. A waitress took our order promptly and bake time about 25 minutes. The buttery crust cooked not burned with layers of sausage, cheese topped with anchovies and a mildly spicy sauce was unlike anything in CA. This may not be the best Chicago but it made the 1500 mile trip worth it!

Legit deep dish spot! We were disappointed at the all famous *other chains* in Chicago. You can’t go wrong ordering their deep dish here. Friendly staff and delicious food. We had a party of 6 where we paid separately and the waiter gladly accepted the split. There is a parking lot in this building so parking is not an issue. Bonus: drinks selection is good too, can’t go wrong!

We stopped here for lunch on our way to Minneapolis from Ohio. Although I typically prefer thin crust around Chicago ya gotta go thick. We arrived hungry and traffic was ugly but once we arrived we found free parking. They greeted us immediately and seated us. all the staff were great. attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We both go the lunch special of a personal sized pizza and cup of soup. Their minestrone was really good but the star of the show is of course their pizza which is on lists as best in Chicago area and usa. We’d read about the crust being buttery and my husband said their crust wasn’t usually so crunchy. All know is it was VERY crunchy and I really liked it. The chunky sauce is on top of the cheese so the crust didn’t get all soggy and gross. I really liked it and would totally go back if In the area.

Their famous deep dish Chicago style pizza is quite tasty and a large portion to dive into for the faint of heart. The desserts are delicious. Service is great with friendly and helpful staff. This chain is very successful for a reason. I cannot wait until I am back to Chicago to dine ther again!

it would have been five stars except for what happened after the meal. Our company meal consisted of deep dish pizza, salad, pasta alfredo with chicken and a mini cookie sundae. At the point of eating, all items tasted great. The deep dish though seemed deeper last time I visited the area because I was able to chomp down a slice with only my hands. Alfredo was rich and loaded with white chicken strips and salad had a ton of ingredients to truly make it an original item. Post meal though I experienced an hour of toilet time directly related to one of the items just consumed obviously. This won’t deter anybody I know from going to a legendary place, but just a heads up with my experience and a few of my co-workers.

Wow! Yummmmmmmm! Real pizza! The buttery thick crust was beyond delicious. There is no pizza like this in Cali anywhere that I know of. The sauce = savory and rich. Ingredients = plentiful and fresh. The pizza pie= big, hot, and fulfilling. I found this place online. I’m kind of bummed the frozen pizzas are so expensive. Otherwise, I’d order them… regularly! Lol Can’t wait to visit Roselle and eat here again.

I have only heard wonderful things about Lou Malnati’s… And don’t get me wrong it was good, but not as good as I expected for the hype. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic and the sausage was good, but weird that it was just a full layer. I would definitely go back because the butter crust was tremendously delicious and I’d love to try a different variety of pizza… But not the5 star review I expected from the hype!

Met for dinner here with some friends I hadn’t seen in a long time and one out of towner. We sat in the bar area at a table because the guy from out of town wanted to watch the hockey game. There was one other table with two people at it not watching and two people at the bar for about 40 mins who talked and then left. This did not stop the bartender from switching the channel to what he wanted to watch, basketball. We voiced our concerns and he just huffed that he was changing between the games– but for who other than himself? Customer service… D. Food was very tried and true Lou’s and on spot. Our waitress and a bit forgetful with the drinks, but not impossible.

Okay, so I’m primarily giving Lou Malnati’s 5 stars because of the pizza. That is it. This isn’t necessarily the coolest or most unique place to go. It’s big and and clearly fined-tuned to service a lot of people craving some delish deep dish. From my 2 experiences, if you go here you are going to need a reservation. If not, be prepared to wait 30 minutes which goes by quick. Espec if you grab a drink at the bar! Oh yeah, the bar. It sucks. Just because a drink is kind of expensive doesn’t mean it’s going to be good. This isn’t the sort of place you want to try something new… Getting back to the nuts and bolts of this review, the pizza is the bomb. You can put your order in when you put your name in making your wait-time much shorter. This means you can start nommin’ shortly after being seated. The crust is what makes the pizza come full circle… it’s buttery and flavorful. Like, I looooove the crust. It’s quite addicting. LM goes for more sauce than cheese which is my groove. Some people like the cheesy route but not his CM. I need to have my Chicago friends mail me some frozen pizzas. Mmmm I wish I could get this in STL!
