Lincoln Meadows Gym

The best workout gym that I’ve seen out of all the apartments in the area. They have new equipment (2013) that is well maintained. All of the cardio machines have virtual workout screens, for example, you can bike in downtown Chicago or run in the Alps… neat stuff that helps combat boredom. There is a machine bench press, fly/​back machine, bicep machine, both leg machines, a multi use machine (pull ups/​triceps, pulley string style with interchangeable handles), and free weights up to about 50 lbs.
A very clean and organized gym with saunas in the restroom/​locker room area.
Awesome gym included in your rent.

This gym is for tenants of TGM Park Meadows (formerly Lincoln Meadows) and their guests… recently updated to immaculate standards with AMAZING high-​tech machines…(no more yellow walls and leopard carpet) …basically this place ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!
We have lived in 6+ different apartments in the past and this one is by FAR our favorite for several reasons!
When we had to move to IL, we came from out of state to tour a bunch of different places that «seemed» nice on the internet, but then you get there and it is shady skank-​ville city, with horrible people working there, and you just cannot envision yourself calling this «home». After a discouraged trip to Schaumburg, finding crap place after crap place, then almost signing at a semi-​descent property, we made our way back to start packing up and mull over our options. It wasn’t until a night or 2 before that my mom happened to find what was then called «Lincoln Meadows Apartments» and it had fabulous reviews, stunning pictures, and even some videos for us to do virtual tours through from out of state. We couldn’t believe we had not found this gem before!
We immediately called to see if there was a 1 bedroom available in our price range and the ever wonderful Nichole Walker took great care of us! When it came time for us to drive 10+ hours down to Schaumburg, she stayed late to make sure we got our keys, lease signed, and got settled in! She was a GODSEND! We would have never found & got settled into such an amazing place to call home if it weren’t for her!
Other apartment complexes do not even compare TGM Park Meadows! The incredibly caring staff, amenities, and safe neighborhood are top notch. The staff are always wonderful, kind, and promptly resolve any issue that arises with quality and speed! When the new ownership took over they made beautiful upgrades and improvements all around the property and within each and every unit! It really makes it stand out among the sea of crap-​partments in the area.
We have some friends living in other complexes that try to advertise as more high-​end, but in reality, they do not even hold a candle to the shiny gem that is Park Meadows!
We absolutely love this place… so if you are in the market for a new place, or just hate where you’re living now you really should stop by and see one of the lovely leasing ladies and ask for a tour! This gym is a part of Lincoln Meadows and you need a keyfob to get into the building. I love this gym more then any other for several reasons. It opens at 5am which is a big plus for an early bird like me. I can get there at 5, workout for an hour, and still get to work by 630. Loves it!
The locker room is great here. There are a couple of showers to use post workout with locked lockers and a bench for changing. Plus a hot sauna! That’s a big bonus here! I have yet to use the hot sauna but I have my eye on it to try out this week.
There is a weights section which I haven’t yet touched and a nice cardio section. There are a couple treadmills and a bunch of other cardio machines. They got what I need and that’s a good thing. Plus a big LCD screen so I can watch my WGN morning news while I workout.
Yep, I’m a fan and will keep coming back here. No need to get an expensive monthly membership at Lifetime or XSport for me!
