Flourish Baking Company

I had Flourish put together a catering order for me today, and though I didn’t get to try the food myself (had it delivered to a friend), their great service required me to write a review. Though I was unsure of exactly what I wanted, or for how many people, or for what time, Michael was extremely helpful: detailed the flavors, preparations, and sizes of nearly everything on the menu. He made great suggestions, was extremely upfront about pricing, and made the process hassle free– even though I needed a rush order on a holiday! Will definitely visit next time I’m in Westchester!

I was there today for 15 minutes and nobody came to take my order.

Excellent selection of organic pastries delicious cold brew coffee, local ingredients organic dairy & dairy free options as well as local farm fresh eggs & herbs from their garden for omelets! This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away on a side street, this bakery has an unconventional location but it’s well worth the exploring. When you walk in you may think you are in the wrong place but just head up the stairs to a glorious organic/​local food heaven!
***Only wish they were open at 8am m-​f or open one day on the weekend so I could enjoy this place MORE!!! It’s a hidden gem! I’m a brooklyn transplant & it’s seriously the only place in westchester that comes close to brooklyn style and taste in the way of coffee & conscious food :) why would anyone choose starbucks up the road instead?
Please please flourish adjust your hours so we can enjoy you more & watch this little place well… Flourish!!!

I met the FLOURISH team at the SEED market pop up this past weekend. They were one of the bright stars at this event. The food was fresh, bright tasting and delicious. The crisp bread that was seed filled was amazing. I am in love and will have to find a way to get the goods here in NYC. Please note my PLEA; FLOURISH wanted in NYC.

Flourish is my favorite bakery. The food is absolutely incredible.
Owners Michael and Diane are creative, friendly, and eager to help you find something you like. It probably won’t be very difficult considering how truly great their food is.
Flourish is way more than your typical confectionery. They have muffins, breads, soups, salads, seasonal items, and so much more. In fact, if you’re looking for a traditional cake, cupcake, or cookie, this is probably not what you are looking for. It will most likely be better though!
The food is made with real thought and effort. It’s obvious in the presentation and the taste.
They make their way around to some Westchester famers’ markets on weekends, but you can pop into their space in Scarsdale during the week too. A great spot for coffee and a treat.

Flourish has a stand in Madison Eats on Madison above 23^rd street. Their quinoa mushroom burger is the bomb and if you cannot eat gluten I highly recommend this dish as well as all the other veggie yummies served to you by the lovely owner. A highlight of the night market restaurants there!
