This is very nice park. It is also a good use of the creek’s flood plain, in that when it floods(~ 10 years or so) it won’t do much damage. It has base ball diamonds, rest rooms, play ground, and nice paths. Not super interesting, no climbing trees or grand vistas, but a nice place to run around with your kids. It will be nice when JP West Road’s bridge gets a sidewalk… Until then walking from«downtown» Scappoose to the park is a bit more dangerous than it should be.
