I love to walk this trail. From the main trail at the CZ parking lot down on Scappoose Veronina Hwy, you can walk back to town or go the other way to get a more«in the woods» experience. It’s an old logging road so it’s easy to walk and you get to walk alongside the creek at certains sections. It depends on the time of the year but during berry season it’s loaded with lots of berries Or, if your craving a walk along the water, park at Chapman’s landing and head towards the dike walk down towards Bennett Farms. Great trail starting in Scappoose and ending in Vernonia. Beautiful hike, bike or horseride. Highly recommend for a fun day.
