Per Chris A. who wrote his very accurate review 8 months ago stating«the small dog owners are very clicky. They are unfriendly and standoffish.» Dear Chris, I wish to God I had read your review before going! I wish the small dog owners were standoffish. In your face is more like it. From the second you enter the small dog park area as a newbie it’s like a scene from the movie«mean girls», except the main instigator is a guy. These people will outright tell you they are a clique. Not a good environment if you desire a carefree and peaceful outing with your pooch. It’s not the lil’ doggies, it’s the owners at the other end of their leash that keep people away. Good doggie, bad human!

We visited the park for the first time this winter. The park looks and seems like no one has cared for it in quite sometime… Plastic chairs thorn everywhere and with the recent crazy amounts of snow we revived, there was mud everyone. Marley had tons of fun playing with the other puppies and running through the mud. I will certainly take her again when it gets dryer/warmer outside.

Love this place. Nice relaxing spot to let the dog run and play with other dogs. They have 2 large sections. One for dogs 25 lbs or less, and one for dogs over 25 lbs. fresh water always available. Bench and chairs. Bring your own toys and litter bags. There is a garbage and enough parking for everyone.

Nice size park, separate large and small dog runs. Mostly wood chips but most of the bushes at the end looks messy. Some chairs for seating and only one trash bin for garbage and poop bags outside the actually run. Overall a nice place to let your dog run free, easy parking and a water pump to make sure dogs get plenty of water.

One of the better dog runs on the south shore of Long Island… that allows your pup to really run. Things it has going for it: — Plenty of parking only a few feet from run — Has water spigot for dogs — Has separate large & small dog runs — Enough room for dogs to run(1.5 acres) — Great fencing, gates and entry area Things it has against it: — No bathrooms for humans near run — Wood chip ground cover with dirt exposed in areas — Not much shade — Limited seating — Needs better drainage in water spigot basin(water collecting) — Can get windy Adding some shade trees or a canopy and more seating would make this a solid 4 star dog run. Dog runs/parks I have been to so far:
