Group of 7 of us were in town for a wedding and SSC was the last place we ate during our visit. The food was really good but the service was the best we experienced on our trip. The server was very attentive and we definitely were treated with some southern hospitality.

I have been eating at, promoting and loving Soho for almost 20 years, but sadly after today’s experience, I will never go back. The food was awful, but on top of that, the hostess was rude and condescending when I was trying to reserve a large table for my best friend’s bridal luncheon in a couple months. She rolled her eyes at me, and our entire group was in awe of the level of disrespect. After we recovered from the shock, we decided to cancel the reservation and will be planning our event elsewhere.

This place hits the home run of service, drinks, food, and atmosphere. I was here for Saturday lunch with my wife and kids(3 and 5) and they were more than accommodating, providing a high chair, crayons, and pages from a coloring book. I enjoyed a Compass Rose IPA(Service Brewing) from their small but local draft list while we waited for our chow. The kids had no trouble getting through their chicken fingers while my wife and I traded halfsies on fish tacos and a grilled cheese, fried green tomato sandwich. Our server was friendly and attentive and the restaurant is inside of a great, airy, sunlit space. Highly recommended

Great lunch choice in the middle of Savannah. We appreciated their vegetarian friendly menu and unique twists on southern cuisine. Good selection of draft beer and cocktails, friendly bar tenders and a very picturesque space throughout(both the bar and restaurant). A standout from the menu is the fried green tomato sandwich.

I came with my friends for brunch to celebrate part of a friend’s bachelorette. Such a cute place, love the vintage look and the stringing lights as our backdrop — it looked great for pics! The food was amazing. As I was walking to our table I spotted a grilled cheese and tomato soup from someone’s table and knew that’s what I wanted… but it’s not your average combo! The Classic Soho Combo was AMAZING and probably the best I’ve ever had. I normally don’t care for tomato soup, but I ate the sandwich in many smaller bites, scooping up as much of the soup as possible.

If I could give more start I would. The atmosphere, service, food and value are all out of this world. The GM Richard and his staff accommodated a surprise for me flawlessly and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. On top of that the meal was amazing.(chicken and waffles) all of that set in an open and light restaurant while live piano music played. Will definitely be back.

Great service and food. I came here due to reviews and some articles I had read. Love the atmosphere — very funky and lots of artwork. I had the huevos brunch bowl with grits and chorizo and it was fantastic. I will be back for dinner!

What an amazing first stop on our friend’s bachelorette weekend. The charm and hospitality from the host staff set an amazing time for the rest of our experience. Our wait for Saturday Brunch/lunch was about an hour but it was incredibly worth it! Cedric was our server and he was amazing. Only after our payment did we find out that it was his first day! What a natural! Great knowledge, hospitality and honesty. The food was some of our favorite from the entire long weekend. I usually shy away from salads at restaurants but I am thrilled I took a chance on the southwest! Fantastic! A few other girls ordered the soup and grilled cheese and they were thrilled with their meals as well. Great experience. I can’t wait to bring more friends on my next Savannah trip.

Really, I’m giving this place 3.5 stars. It was fairly large and pretty empty– but our stuff took forever to come out! It was a bit expensive for what it was, but that’s okay and kind of expected for the area it is in. The food was good– about average. The orange juice I had was very delicious and tasted so fresh! Our server was super nice, but not very attentive. That kind of made me upset because I needed my water glass filled and she took forever to get over to me. I’d probably check this place out again when in Savannah, but for lunch or dinner– we went for breakfast.

The only truly nice thing about this place is its ambiance. Decoration is pretty cool and unique. Sadly service was’t good at all! After we were seated, we waited around 15 minutes to be helped. When food came, soup was lukewarm and chicken pot pie, even though looked nice, was bland. As they were about to close, we were rushed out of the restaurant. Just felt like we weren’t welcomed.

Nice lunch menu variety. The tomato bisque is excellent, so is the monte cristo sandwich and made-from-scratch chicken pot pie. The key lime pie is the real deal.

My wife and I were walking around Savannah and happened upon Soho. Reviews looked ok as it the menu. Walked in and were seated for lunch in the bar area by the window. Pleasant view and great waitress. She walked us thru the menu and we decided on splitting a chicken panini and a Vietnamese salad. Knowing we were splitting they brought everything divided which was really professional in our opinion. The building appears to be an old garbage and is really cool on the inside. Will come again when in Savannah!

Had lunch here on one of the days we were staying by accident. We were on our way to The Public Kitchen which are the same owners of this restaurant and were very pleased with the selection for lunch. Very cute décor inside. The Salmon Burger was delicious.

Waiter was slow to greet me and give me my check. She had good knowledge of the menu and was good at the add on up sale. The food and atmosphere was great.

Very hip eating establishment in downtown. The menu is full of your classic sandwiches like monte cristo, blt, etc with an extra yummy twist. I went with the quiche of the day which was goat cheese, tomato and spinach. It was a savory treat with a flaky crust. The quiche came with the soho salad– greens with cranraisins, walnuts and a balsamic dressing. I went with the blood orange mimosa also which was refreshing light and bubbly. Everything was fresh and delicious. The décor is very cool! Repurposed furniture no chair is alike, local artist displays and a whole wall dedicated to refurbished doors and shutters. I did not have the chance to really check out the bar/lounge area but it looked really cool. Definitely a neat place to have a bite.

SoHo, what happened? Before this weekend, I’d been to SoHo twice with my family while visiting our parents in Savannah. We went this past Sunday for brunch(Nov 16… seems other that day had a bad experience as well) to an updated/renovated space and extremely LOUSY, downright nasty food. I hate giving out 1 star ratings but this must be done to save others. I’m looking out for you all, people. And I hope SoHo takes serious note. We were all pretty hungry and looking forward to returning to SoHo. They have obviously made some updates to the space, a bit more fancier, even having a live piano player in house. Some of the quirkiness is still there but not as much. We all ordered drinks, my coffee cup came out and my sister immediately pointed out what I didn’t see at first — one side of my cup had lipstick stains. Gross. Our waitress promptly took it back to get a new cup. We ordered our food and had quite a bit of a wait for it. Also, I want to note that their brunch menu has been condensed to a single, small framed menu on the table, It’s literally in a picture frame on the table. No brunch items listed on the menu itself. Mind you, they only serve brunch on Sundays. We had to pass around the frame. Two of us ordered the Salmon Croquette(«sauteed grit cake topped with a salmon croquette, seared heirloom tomato, sauteed spinach and sweet corn gravy), one ordered the Southwestern burrito, one ordered the biscuits and Andouille gravy and the 5th person ordered the breakfast croissant. Not a damn thing was good. First — the salmon croquette was OK in taste, pretty mushy, grit cake was just bad. Bad. Hard but underdone, no flavor at all. The«gravy» was pretty much creamed corn that this whole concoction was swimming in. The biscuits and Andouille gravy… wow. Haha We really wished we took a photo. Two biscuits with orangey gravy and literally two SLICES of a sausage link — one on each biscuit. It was so sad. One person had cheese grits that came with their meal. No cheese and the grits were cold and hard. After flagging down our waitress, she did bring another order of them that visibly had cheese in it. On top of all of this, all food was lukewarm — nothing was hot. Being hungry was pretty much the only reason most was eaten. We never saw our waitress again(except for the grits exchange) until it was time for the checks. I’m kicking myself for not speaking up more but we were trying to just enjoy the family outing. I haven’t been so disappointed with a meal in a while. Seek out another place for brunch until they get it together. I will say, I cannot speak on the lunch items. Clearly, SoHo painted the house without fixing whatever is broke inside. The food used to be so good and memorable. It felt like an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Paging Gordon Ramsey…

Went in today with family that was visiting from out of town for brunch/lunch and enjoyed some really good food as usual. The staff was more than accommodating for our party of 7 plus baby sling, and the wait staff was very attentive to our needs. Let me start by saying the Tomato Bisque here is to die for. I spent seven years in Germany and Italy, and never have I tasted a better tomato based soup. I will say that I was extremely disappointed with my Salmon BLT due to the salmon barely taking up half the bun. The flavor was amazing though… just wish there was more of it. But my brother had the salmon croquettes and they were awesome, along with the PB&J(pimento, bacon, and jalapeño) burger, the chicken Pot Pie, and the chicken alfredo. I’ll continue to come back here… but I think the Salmon BLT for lunch is a huge disappointment for size.
